Lets say Hatton does beat Floyd. I want your honest answer. Would you give Hatton respect for winning, or would you say its only because floyd participated on DWTS that he won? Give me your honest answer. And please dont send "I'm not gonna worry about that because he won't lose" replies. I'm not hating on floyd I just want some of you guys honest answer if this were to happen.
nice to see some honest opinions on here for a change. I know their is also a lot of British fans that don't even respect floyd which is crazy but if floyd does what is expected and out box and out skill hatton then surely every boxing fan, fighter in the world must applaud floyd and say he is the best in the world, maybe EVER.
The only CUNT I respect is the one between a womans legs, I hope PBF is dribbling wheelchair bound fucker.

Of course I'd like Floyd to win, but if he loses I think it would affect him more than me. As far as respecting Hatton, I mean, he is 43-0 isn't he? Doesn't that already warrant respect (regardless of the competition)? A win over Floyd would make him one of the best in the sport in my eyes, though anytime I ponder such an outcome I must clarify that I'm 99.99% sure that he's not going to win..

I don't see a reason to use any excuse. I'll put it to you like this, Mayweather has said the dancing will help him in the long run. He said for both fame and the way he trains. Helps keep him on his toes, he said. So, you can't take that, and then IF he loses, turn it around and use it as an excuse. He loses, if it's fair, then he just got beat. Fair and square.
No Floyd fan has even said they will use the Dancing show as an excuse, so I don't know why we keep going over it! Even if Floyd loses I don't think he will bitch about it but he'll want a rematch. If Floyd was beaten and he bitches I will lose alot of respect for him but he won't use DAncing as an excuse as it was his choice to do it! He's still training hard for boxing aswell as dancing so I don't see the problem with the dancing, its getting him more exposure and has the chance to bring in new fans to boxing!!
I will not allow Floyd , or any of his fans, to use the DWTS excuse. He has been questioned about the wisdom of taking that on. Mosley, Duran, Tszyu, Holyfield, Hatton, Delahoya and many, many other boxers/trainers have said they would NOT do that. So, AT MINIMUM, it should have caused Floyd to rethink that.
You can't get advice, and then act like you didn't know. So, no excuses.
If PBF loses to Hatton, then it diminishes him in my eyes. For me, he is teetering between "era great" and "all-time great". Any good win moves him to the latter. Any loss slides him back to the former. Or maybe even further.
Fair?
Fair enough

If Hatton wins i honestly dont think that makes him the best fighter in the world although that would be most peoples impression, in my eyes he is not the most talented fighter out there and while i know there is more to Boxing than Technique and skill i think i just dont see him as the best Boxer active today and a win over PBF will not make me think otherwise
styles make fights
if you took Hattons record even with a win over PBF and placed it next to Hopkins it would not make sense to call Hatton number the 1 fighter in the world IMO ,bear in mind who bhop has just beaten
if Floyd lost his Title i as p4p i would hand it straight to Manny Pacquaio not Hatton
I'm a big fan of Hatton already and have watched most of his career but I like Floyd better! If Hatton can beat PBF, I'll admit he was the better man and look forward to the rematch but I truly believe PBF will win!
It depends on how he won, if it was stolen and some BS, then no. If he hugs and hit and holds and bites, then no. But if he actually is a boxer on Dec. 8th and actually puts up a good fight where he was the better man that night, then yeah. Hell, if he lose and make sit competitive and on the edge of you r seat exciting, I would cheer him for that. I don't want to see none of that mess he pulled on Urango and Zoo
I'd give him respect but I would whinge on here for a rematch lol but yeah if he beats floyd good on him I'd hope he fought the best from there onwards and succeded in what ever he set out to do....

Hatton would get his respect... DWTS isn't even a part of the equation as far as I am concerned... when someone does something that puts them at a disadvantage on purpose, they are no longer able to factor that into the equation of a fight.
