Wow, people already writing off Peter, a guy who had a couple of bad rounds against a tough opponent; due to ring rust and lack of any meaningful preparation. How many bad rounds has Klitschko had in his career? A lot more than Sam. Get real guys! This is a tough fight to call, when it eventually happens. When Peter fought McCline, both fighters were on about a 9 month layoff. Also, Wlad completely dominated McCline and then TKO'd him. Peter was supposed to have an iron chin yet he got knocked down 3 times and had much more trouble with a 37year old McCline then Wlad did with a 32 year old McCline.

sam peter with a couple more fights under his belt against decent fighters, will be able to make this fight competitive. but i dont think we'll see this until 2009. peter has to fight maskaev, vitali, and/or mccall before he will have a optional defense

I think Wlad has dramatically improved since the fight with Peter. Late KO or a shutout UD.

Let me first say that, Peter’s handlers would be very ill-advised to put Peter in with Klitschko anytime soon, so I don’t think a rematch will occur in 2008. If it were to happen now, I’d pick Wlad by brutal KO within 6 rounds…. I agree. 6-8 rounds and Peter would be gone. But Sam will be to scared for the rematch, or at least his handlers.
