What was it like being ringside?
Great. It was actually a very high quality fight. Mundine's best, but he didn't win it. A lot of his punches that didn't land still got a reaction from the crowd. It was actually a good night of boxing. Katsidis was on the undercard.
Im not to annoyed though. Because the fights Vs Kessler, Green and Soliman were brilliant to watch. I would have paid $200 each to watch those fights. So in a way i haven't been to down about his cards.
The only fight I would have paid for as a PPV is Kessler. But, I was ringside for that one.
briggs vs ibragimov Thank god for streams, I feel bad for anybody that ordered that.
Delahoya Vs Mayweather wasnt too bad, Bautista fight was pretty good. and the Delahoya fight was pretty interesting for the first 10 rounds, until Delahomo gassed as always.
Hopkins Wright wasnt bad because the Undercard was good, Had never seen Linares or Katisidis fight. It was a tood card overrall. U had to expect Hops vs Winks being a slow boxing match.
Am I the only one that thought that Mayweather vs De la hoya was actually entertaining? Seriously, I knew it wasn't going to be a fucking outright brawl, and honestly if you believed it was going to you're a dumbass.
Mayweather got in some great counters and stuff. He just didn't dance around and potshot his way to victory. He landed great combos, while De la hoya tried to press the action. It made it a fun fight. Sure it wasn't the greatest of all greats, but it was good.
Also, I didn't mind Hopkins vs Wright, but that might just because I have Hopkins is my favorite fighter and enjoy his genius and technical abilities.
For the amount of money it made it, rightfully so, should have been the greatest fight in the past 20 years. Since it wasn't near that level I can understand people's woes. That being said I found the fight entertaining and I watch it regularly.
Mundine vs Nievas. I was totally pissed. Payd $50 and Mundine was just toying with the guy who was as unco as a one legged pensioner.
Serves you right for paying $50.00. You should know better than that. That was not a PPV fight or Card. Mundine's cards are a joke.
But people keep supporting it, that's why it's still on PPV.

If were talking about PPV let downs then yea... De La Puta Vs Gayweather
If you wanna talk about why the fuck they even put this fight on PPV it would have to be Jones Vs Handcock.
