I went from being slightly motivated for December 8th to not at all now. After such a moving and inspiring performance by both fighters on Saturday, I couldn't care less about Dec 8th right now.
How can that fight possibly live up to what we saw Sept 29th? By being slow? By being one-sided? A few cheap cusses from Mayweather and Hatton?
What we saw on Saturday was the real fucking deal, and if we're lucky enough to see such a performance from both fighters again, it will be Mosley and Cotto.
take the sting out of what?...if anything, the pavlik/taylor fight is a sample of whats next to come...I mean, u have pacman/barrera...then calzaghe/kessler..Mosley/Cotto...and of course Mayweather/Hatton...all these fights are worth my money, PPV or not...and each fight gets better (or looks better n better on paper)
1 down...4 more to go..
Yeah I'm sure all of the great hype and advertising that is going to bombard us even more so soon will definitly get me back into the fight, of course. My point was though, I will follow it blindly and waiting, knowing that what I saw on Saturday will have far surprassed any excitement Hatton-Mayweather is likely to generate.
