Will taylor be able to hold his hands up and defend properly for the rematch? And if so will that change the outcome?
Taylor has no defense and some stamina issues so can he overcome is problems to become champ again???
I feel it might be to late for his defense to improve much and when hurt he will always just back up as his holding style isn't that effective... so is this the end of the line for taylor and his career?
jt was crisp but he always put his hands low just like floyd does but he aint mayweather and fighting pavlik w/ that style is scary cos he hits harder that you thought till the last rd.
exactly JT is very flawed ... and the kinds of flaws aren't gonna change over night. but after a loss would Taylor pin point what he does wrong much more closely? ima leave that question open ended.
he was moving around too much and looked nervous .. chances are he will still use too much movement and still be nervous
its minor things .. but more habit what JT does wrong and at 29 years old .. can he really work out the kinks?
because Kelly Pavlik is a winnable fight for Taylor .. but can Taylor make the adjustments needed to win?
and even if he does make those adjustments (not wasting movement, better endurance (don't gas in the second round) ... staying off the ropes, and keeping his hands up)
he could still come up short.
because even at 168 if he fights the same way .. he would lose.
No. Jermain has fought backing up and doing what he does for his whole career. All those movements he did were worth shit. Pavlik was still catching him with the jab. Jermain needs to look elsewhere.
it is just you and one or two i'm want taylor to live a long happy life not suffer brain damage when he is done
He was finished before he even went down. Pavlik's punches were keeping him up. As soon as the ref stopped it.. Taylor dropped like a bomb.
He had no chance of getting up after those shots.
I think Pavlik was allot more hurt when he got knocked down by taylor and he got his chance.
If you don't keep your hand up for the majority of your career I don't think yo ucan change after one fight. He will keep it down that is just what he does. However I think he can fight smarter box more and not get so exciting. He wasted to many movements and gassed himself out, he should be fine if he does so.
Is it just me or do you guys think they should of gave taylor a count and see if he could of came back.

Pavlik got to Taylor and had him beat mentally before the fight...
Taylor reminded me of Wlad after his loss to Brewster. I think Emmanuel has what it takes to work on Taylor's level of confidence and prepare him for the rematch
Taylor was fighting very nervous last night... he burned a lot of unnecessary energy..
All he has to do is relax, pace, and do his thing.. it's not about his hands, angles, or anything else you listed
you think taylor is better than he is imo... he does need to relax with with a longer fighter with a STIFF jab everything mentioned above will be part of the problem with taylor imho
