The truth. What is the truth? Isn't the truth what we choose it to be? The truth, like everything else we encounter in life , is no more than our own personnel perception based on the environment we have evolved from-Isn't it?
That said, How can any truth be "written in stone" as the old saying goes. Even the great Albert Einstein is being second guessed these day. E=MC2 was universal, written in stone, so to speak, but lately every boundary is being pushed in ways Einstein could never have imagined. Quantum Mechanics is opening doors that were considered eternally shut by dogmatic institutions for decades before.Scientists these day speak of alternate realities and multiple universes as if they were a dime a dozen. Now the idea of faster than light travel is being challenged and overcome in controlled instances. What would the greats of the past say if they were told some of the things we are beginning to see become reality. Would they accept it? Would they ignore it and write the man off that proclaimed it Mad? Who knows, but history tells us it would probably be the latter!
Enter the Formidable Easton Assassin. He, not unlike the other greats born before their time, sees with eyes not clouded by the herd mentality. He preaches the principles that will enlighten the uninformed masses. He shows these confused individuals the problems that can come from blind adoration without logical observation. Still these zealots proclaim greatness where it cannot possibly reside. They see brilliance where impartial observation clearly would call for a more rigorous model by which to test the supposed theory. It shines in the sun, therefore it must also shine in the rain. This logic is the root of the problem with these zealots. Not unlike, those dogmatic zealots of old that could not, or would not see the reality of reality.
Come November, i will be vindicated.

You're right! Hatton is going to win.
A moment of truth
I commend your post, Easton.
Not sure if this is the right section of the forum to reply, but Truth can be a long debated discussion. See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth -- For a good starting base.
You've shed light on a seldom discussed topic.
Many Truths have been shattered as you've alluded to. And yes, everyone's personal Truth is unique to its own.
At one time, the Earth was thought of as flat. The 4 minute mile was thought impossible to be broken. The mere thought of a man flying was shot down as ludicrous, schizophrenic psychobabble.
And many discover their true potential for greatness to be more possible today than yesterday.
What was true today, may not be true tommorrow.:boxing:
ummm.. that shit makes sense, mad big words but it made sense.. this doesn't have nothing to do with boxing though.. were you being a dick or were you trying to make a relevant point?
