I also have a hard time seeing anyone slide in between Pacquiao and Marquez, unless one of them lose. They drew with each other, and have pretty much cleaned out the division... what's the difference between the two? I'd say Hatton #4 probably. Side note: I also think Calzaghe is going to jump quite a bit if he wins, maybe to #5. I know it doesn't make much difference in the ring, but Marquez is pretty old, isn't he? It just seems to make a difference when considering p4p (Hopkins aside..IMO shouldn't be in the top ten p4p now).

Pacman can definitely beat Marquez, it could have happened before if only not for the mistake of one of the judges. Yeah you're right, as of the moment we just have to wait and see the outcome of their fights. Hatton and barrera can pull out big upsets which would change the scenario. Agreed, the judges mistake did seal that draw... however, I have a hard time believing that there is going to be another round in their rematch with Marquez being knocked down three times. If Marquez had him figured out as good as he did the first fight, it is going to be a damn tough fight for Pacquiao to win.

It has nothing to do with so-called excitement, it has to do with who is the best Pound for Pound fighter in the world. If Floyd is #1 currently, it is HIS spot to lose, and the #2 guy beating an old, (albeit lengendary and still very good), unranked and kinda slumping MAB coming off a loss doesn't move him up to #1, especially since he is fighting another undefeated top 10 P4P fighter.
