Mayweather thinks he 'comes straight ahead' and uses his fights with Corrales and Gatti as examples of what he does to 'come straight ahead' fighters.
He's clearly under-estimating Hatton.
Hatton has knows all the angles and has great lateral movement on the inside, but, then again, Mayweather will see this if he studies more Hatton fights...
But no, Hatton is an immovable object. Mayweather's hands are fucked to boot. Mayweather moves backwards faster than anybody BUT Hatton moves forwards faster than anybody. Mayweather has terrific balance, But Hatton has fantastic balance as well and the strength to get Mayweather off-balance.
I'm leaning towards the Hitman son
I can see Hatton winning. Hey if mayweather trips falls and hits himself in the mouth ,,,Bang Hatton wins by knock-out. Now if that don't happen Hatton loses a wide wide decision. To bad because Hatton is a class act
Joe Calzaghe Mikkel Kessler winner
Wladimir Klitschko (will be Povetkin)
These guys are big enough to hurt you. But really, the best heavyweight is always the best fighter in the world.
Hatton is faster than DLH on the inside. He puts together quicker and crisper combinations. He's quicker on his feet too.
De La Hoya and Hatton are nothing alike. Stop comparing the two. Same with Gatti and Corrales. I'm tired of hearing, "Hatton isn't as big or powerful as De La Hoya." So what? Hatton fights a completely different fight. He's not like anything Mayweather has fought. Castillo doesn't have a tenth of the speed Hatton has inside, and he's not as strong either.
My personal belief is that DLH had the best chance to beat Floyd because of his style. He did well when he used his jab, but he abandoned it less than midway and that cost him the fight in my opinion. I'm not saying DLH is better than Hatton, maybe he is, but they havent fought so I cant really say that. But I do not think Hatton's style will work against floyd. Hatton will have to get inside to be effective, how is he going to do that consistently? Floyd has all the tools to make it look like a boxing lesson. Even if Hatton does get inside, its not like hes going to do it enough to get many rounds.

What about you're use of karma to degrade my rep, Dwiens? That was petty as shit. Why don't you give me my star back?
I gave it to you because your first 20 posts or so where all about Mayweather being the greatest fighter in the world... and every single one was super sarcastic... idk, I just said it would have been nice to see a serious post, and now you are doing so. Well done... I'd give you green karma, but I can't, it would just be neutral, because I'm pretty sure my karma will never be green again after all the shit I got nailed with today. :lol1:
Let's give Mayweather some credit, he doesn't believe what he says about Hatton. He says that to accumulate the silly sense of invincibility among his fans. Mayweather knows Hatton is better than any pressure guy he's faced, he knows this is no mere JL Castillo this time. He's going to prepare for the subtleties of Hatton's game
Well, I wouldn't characterize Castillo as "mere", but I know what you're saying here.
I've already commended you on your inappropriate use of karma, well done... too bad you had to get someone to do it for you, bitch.

I would tell you to put your points where ya mouth is, but I have to save my points for ma bro Aztec when the time comes... Ricky will give Floyd his most challenging test. The pressure he will place on Floyd will be non stop and persistent. Can Floyd be fast enough, smart enough, and have enough pop in his punches to keep Ricky at bay? That will have to be answered on the 8th of December.

JLC is/was an awesome pressure fighters, he doesnt bring the speed and angles that Hatton brings, but he brought plenty. I mean if you look at either Castillo fight, you will se Floyd having serious problems (fight 1) or having to fight a very measured defensive fight (which he never had to do before or until he fough Oscar) in fight 2.
Plenty of fighters put real pressure on Mayweather: Chavez, Famoso, Oscar, Baldomir.
Castillo brought something else: one of the best inside games of the last decade, unbelievable toughness, and incredible timing. Castillo beat to the punch Mayweather a numer of times, that's rare stuff, you dont get to see it very often.
Note not putting Hatton down in any way,
Funny you say that. I have seen Hatton come in wide many times. You would think a sharp counterpuncher could beat him. Funny how none have. I think Mayweather is in for a suprise.
Exactly the point, it is not clear that Hatton will be able to do everything he usually does against Floyd. It is also not clear that PBF will be able to do what he usually does against Ricky.
Hatton never faced anyone close to Floyd in terms of counterpunching defense, et cetera, and Floyd never fought someone like Hatton who puts the pressure with 12 rounds, with speed and stamina.

True that struck me as a silly thing to say about Hatton. If PBF goes in with this in his mind, he is in for a big surprise.
It's true that with Mayweather speed, slickness, accurate counters Hatton will have a harder time closing in than against anyone before
