Just read an interview that he had on doghouseboxing. He says some off the wall things. Even goes as far as to say that Oscar owes his fame and notoriety to Floyd because Oscar became more well known after fighting Floyd. I personally see it the other way around. FLOYD became more well known, and owes his current star status to Oscar.
Deevel,
Don't you get it? Floyd said wildly controversial shit so that it can get printed and some guy can post a thread about it and people can talk about him.
Ever notice how Jerome Bettis only talks about how he faked injuries when his book is coming out?
Or that Rosie only "reveals" how she cut herself because he has a book coming out?
Or that Star Jones admits to gastric bypass because she has a new show?
You guys should not hang on every word Floyd says.
And they call his fans nuthuggers, his haters make 2 times as many threads as his fans.
Floyd seems to NEED a lot of love... he is delusional for sure.. and was long before he made THAT statement..
I blame his dad and uncle.. I mean his family is seriously disfunctional.. and poor Floyd has been caught in the middle.. and Thinks fame will give him the love he feels he is lacking.. Fame is cruel animal..and I dont think Floyd can deal with the negative side of it..
The more we push him away.. The harder he clings.. trying to convince us he is the greatest thing that ever happened to mankind..
I truly feel sorry for him..
do u have an actual degree in psychology, or are you just stating an opinion? its hard to tell in some of your posts....:ugh::ugh:
over-analysis anyone?? :smashfrea
DLH made PBF, becuse until he beat DLH there were question marks over PBFs ability. After beating DLH we realize PBF is a decent enough boxer and less reasons for anyone to make excuses about PBF.
This is really getting ridiculous children. There has to be some sort of sick obsession with all these Mayweather threads appearing. Give it a rest. Why should any of you be remotely bothered by another man's behavior especially since it has absolutely nothing to do with you? Do any of you realize it is a persona?
Welter:
You see, I do post here often...:D

I don't think one owes the other anything! They're both great in their own right. De La Hoya is probably more liked by the average fan because he doesn't trash talk.

It was the other way around. A lot of non boxing fans knew who Oscar was. Because he is the Golden Boy. But ask a normal housewife who PBF is and they still prob wont know.
