Hatton has as good a shot as any past fighter PBF has faced. Everyone Floyd has faced had some chance. My problem with seeing Hatton winning this fight is based upon PBF's win over DLH. Other than footwork and tenacity, all the other areas of his game either fall short or just matches DLH's ability. Sure his bodywork is 2nd to only Cotto IMO, but you have to be able to apply the work. Its hard to punch with all your strength while simultaneously trying to catch an evasive Floyd.
no, there's one thing haten does better than dlh - cut off the ring, and everything will be riding on this on fight night
That would be legitimate, and if that's the case, then I respect Ricky for staying with the girl who liked him for him. He didn't go out and get the trophy wife.
Dwyane Wade stayed with the fugly girl he knew since high school, also.
I'm a little shocked...
I've heard some extremely fine looking bitches in LA say AI's name.
Playmates and Penthouse Pets and shit like that..
He's probably keeping it loyal from back in the day, and he probably has his road tricks - but MAN could he do better.
yeah, she's not much to look at in that pic but maybe she has other virtues, maybe she's a freak in the bedroom... besides iverson can always go out and bang a supermodel on the sly and then bail out on the drama. maybe his wife doesn't hassle him too much, if she had a great personality i could see her getting better and better looking the more u hang around her
I never said you lost on every fight, only that you lost a lot of points. Dec 8 will make you a lot lighter in the points again. :D
You're taking the EASY bet.
Congratulations. :fing02:
Broke on what???
Some LOW BLOWS in one fucking fight?
You need to check my record, son.
The ONLY fights I haven't picked are Judah/Cotto and the last De Leon fight on a fucking goof.
Inventing nonsense will get you nowhere. :killyou:

uhhmm she's fine and maybe she lets brother Iverson be who he is, that shit is priceless
Yeah that's his wife

She was fucking BANGING when Kobe first picked her up..
Still looks pretty good but nothing compared to her prime.
I'll give this to you Addy, you back your opinion with points bets. It wasn't pretty seeing you go e-broke after a few past fights.....you know which ones. ;) If you ever need a loan (Dec. 8), I'm here for ya.

Commenting about PBF in a PBF/Hatton thread.
Shocking, huh?
Conversely, it CAN be said that you obsessing about every possible flaw or minutiae of PBF is a less-than-lofty pursuit......right?
No it cannot.
Not every individual point can be generically flipped.
I have conceeded the overwhelming possibilty that Mayweather could quite easily walk away with the victory.. And how.
D-dub,
My initial though was the same as yours. That Corrales was the best win.
However, I have talked about how the Castillo fight was a long time ago and that PBF is a different fighter now yadda yadda. It would be hypocritical of me to take the GOOD (Corrales) from six years ago while simultaneously asking people to ignore the BAD ( castillo 1).
I don't want to be a hypocrite.
Word.
I didn't read the entirety of the posts that I had missed. That makes sense.
I guess it also does a lot of good to be comparing more current fights at closer weights.
She's not THAT bad. A little gummy though. Would not want oral from that girl...
I would want oral from her... fuck man, you could put out a bathtub size quantity of nut and she would still be able to gladly swallow.
Hatton's best win is just as good as Mayweather's, if not better.
Mayweather's overall resume is better but his best opponents were at a lower weight.
Case closed.
I'll disagree with Dios and say that Mayweather's best win was the Corrales fight. De La Hoya isn't going to go down as elite at 154, but Corrales will be known as an excellent fighter at 130.
Either way, one of those two fighters can be argued better than Tzsyu. Take your pick:
Do you like the super accomplished fighter who is a bit past his prime.
OR
The young undefeated badass who has been runnin tha game on the division for a while.
That being said, I don't think there is much separating the biggest wins of the two fighters. Tszyu was an excellent fighter, simple as that.
Who cares about this weight stuff. Hatton moved down to 140 after 147. True story but it is irrelevant.
Tszyu was actually a winner. DLH really hasn't won a fight for years and years. Other then uhhh- Mayorga. Mosley (granted it was a close fight), Hopkins, Sturm, Floyd. That's 2 wins he's had since he beat yory boy in 5-6 years.
Oh and granted Tszyu was probably out of prime a little bit, but the man didnt lose for years. At least we didn't see weakness out of him. We have seen plenty of weakness in DLH. Plenty.
Finally somebody who sees the light...........good post Azteca.
I respectfully disagree for the following reasons:
Oscar Delahoya is BIGGER than Kostya Tszyu. Floyd beat a much bigger man. Ricky beat a guy in his own weight class.
Oscar Delahoya is BETTER than Kostya Tszyu. Oscar has better wins, better competition, a better legacy...everything. Oscar would NEVER get knocked out by Vince Phillips. Never. Ever. E.V.E.R.
A 33 year old Oscar at 154 is a tougher opponent than a 36 year old Tszyu at 140. Just my opinion.
I just do not agree that today's De LaHoya is without a doubt a tougher opponent than Kostya Tszyu. With all due respect, De LaHoya was a great fighter, but ever since he got knocked out by that body shot from Hopkins, he's been slipping. Oscar does not fight out of pride anymore. He fights for the money. I haven't seen him at his best in many years. And Azteca made a great point, Floyd's victory over Oscar was not very impressive at all. Hatton's victories over both Tszyu and Castillo were very impressive. If anything, they clarified his strength. Nothing much has been clarified by Floyd's fights. We already know he is a defensive wizard. What else has he got?
