Give me your honest thoughts on Vitali Klitschko and his position.

Samuel Peter won an title eliminator not once, but TWICE and Vitali came after he lost in politics after 3 Years, How can someone who was'nt active for 3 years, cant take tune up fights because keeps getting injured while training get a direct shot? OK he has that status he can come whenever he likes but when he knows he will get injured why disappoint his fans? he has been injured so many times while just training, he postponed the Rahman bout 4 times costing the fans every time cuz they probably bought tickets and all, he would have beaten Rahman anyway but thats not the point he kept disappointing the fans, not that he is doing it on purpose cuz Vitali is a nice guy, but boxing is just not for him anymore because he is having too many injuries most of them coming from his kickboxing career... That fast 5'9 middleweight would have beaten most HW's and you know that, and was'nt Peter/Klitschko scored 114-111? WK fans act like it was a onesided fight when they were nervously watching Wladimir hit the mat so many times thinking the fight could end but with the help of the new holding tactics he did win, it was a clever strategy, and once the fight is over the scores are announced all you see is WK Fans talking about like it was a onesided fight, You know it very well Welter Peter was in that fight all the time and Gave Wladimir the toughest fight he ever won. What makes you think he knows he'll get injured? If he's given the go ahead by his physician, he has no reason to think he isnt completely healthy. Just as you or I would. He can't help that he gets injured. But yes, I think he needs to really think about whether or not he wants to continue down this path.

I dont no about the injuires, hope he doesnt come back, the heavyweights are doin fine without a Robot for a champ lol i think rock would have knocked him out if they had fought, and i think he just wants the light on him again cos everything is so much on his little brother and sam peter and the other fighters now, i dnt think if he does come back he should be allowed to just come in and get a title shot, at anyones title, i dnt think any fighter should be allowed to come out and fight for a title straight away

hes resume does lack big name victories, that ebing said i do think hes injuries are legit, why would he else go threw all this trouble anyway if hes body doesnt heal upp he should retire and stay reired this is fare too annoying

In my opinion he is one of the luckiest boxers to ever walk this planet: his fans seem to be capable of excusing everything he does: He loses a fight ... his fans say he would have won, had the fight continued: totally ignoring the facts, what actually happened and that Klitschko is very much aware of the rules. E.G.: against Lewis he had four rounds to finish the fight with the injuries but failed, how would he have won? Don't you think he gave it all he got that night, aware of a possible stoppage? He keeps the title hostage for a year ... his fans say he has the right to do so because everybody, including Rahman, is a bum compared to Big Klit. He wants to get an immediate title shot, kinda betraying Peter ... his fans say he had the right to do since he is soo great. Seriously, if Klitschko boxed a round, then quit due to "pain" somewhere, how many people would still call him the winner or "people's champion"? The more he talks about Lewis, the more clearly to I see the word OWNED on his face ... because Lewis, at least mentally (in my opinion) made him his bitch. He beat everyone but Byrd and Lewis, but his resume lacks big names...

Vitali is better than those old chumps Only in your dreams, does Vitali have the type of resume, achievement, and wins over HW contenders of his time as someone like Witherspoon in his time.

luis santana= the luckiest world champion ever. vitali was fortunate among recent years, but is nowhere near luis "gimme an oscar" santana.

Quitali Quitschko is on par with 80s titlists such as Greg Page, Tony Tubbs, and maybe Tim Witherspoon if you want to be nice. But Witherspoon fighting about even and probably deserving the decision over champion Holmes was better than anything Quitali did. Vitali is better than those old chumps

If anything mentally Lewis was the bitch and got scared into retirement by Klitschko, and thats the hard truth. absolutely You could claim Vitali is the 'bitch', after all who has been banging on about this fight for the last four years? A fight he LOST. He needs to let go and prove something of worth in the ring, obviously injury is threatening that. I remember his "..he destroyed my dream of fighting Tyson." remark towards Danny Williams, a win over Mike, at any stage of his career would have given him some credibility (he thinks.) He knows he's a blip on the HW boxing landscape having not achieved what his talents initially promised but, he lives too much in the past.

I do, however, believe that Vitali has received the most prestige/credit/attention for proving very little in the ring itself of any big name fighter of recent times. Tyson is another name you could put in this category, but at least he was a terror in the 80s and did have some good wins in the 90s. Vitali's biggest wins were a loss to Lewis and Corrie Sanders and Kirk Johnson. Ugh.

Lol funny that you say that Lewis made Klitschko his bitch, when in reality Lewis was the bitch, who promised a rematch and sat on the title for a year before being to scared to fight Klitschko again. I feel that he's legitimately injured and desperately wants to get back in the ring, but the injuries are far too serious
