Why do people say Floyd Mayweather runs when he fights in the pocket?

Because they have seen the fights against Baldomir and De La Hoya only. The best chin in the business and a guy who outweighs Floyd by over 10 pounds, it is absurd that people want Floyd to stand and trade with him. You're absolutely right. Most of these guys only say a couple of floyds fights and its not good. They've actually got it allllllwrong. From foundation to Finish. Attitude and Skill.

I reviewed my extensive fight catalog on PBF and 90% of Floyd Mayweathers fights he's fighting in the pocket,why does everyone claims he's a runner??? I'm not sure on the number for this fight, but don't act like he is drawing it himself. Honestly Hatton is by far the more popular fighter in this fight and that is where a lot of the money is gonna be generated. Hell dude had over 9,000 people come from London for the castillo fight, Floyd can barely have americans come watch him here. Not to mention the TV ratings that hatton is gonna add from England. Oscar would do that fighing a cab driver on his own. Well, neither of us can say who's drawing the money. All I CAN say is Hatton isn't getting what Mayweather is getting. We'll see who's the draw in their next fights. All there really is to it.

Many ppl can do that,DLH could be a billionaire too if he played his cards correctly. I highly doubt he will get close to 300 million.Isnt he 30 already too? Once those big fights happen,he will most likely only fight once a year,like DLH does. Even in the Baldy fight and the De La Hoya fight, he wasn't running. He's a defensive fighter. That's it. I hate the idea that people need to be Arturo Gatti to be respected. He hardly has any QUICK foot movement these days, as a matter of fact. he COULD, he just stays there and rolls with the punches.

Hank is the man and did it the right way in an era that didn't have all the supplements and technology of today, which makes what he did even more impressive and respectable. That is the reason he didn't want to support Barrys accomplishment in the beginning. I don't blame him seeing your record fall to someone who cheated the game. Only thing that irked me really is that people were ready to crucify Barry before anything was even confirmed. Though it is apparent by now that Barry's achievements are a bit tarnished, for some strange reason I have a feeling that some are actually happy about it.
