The homophobia around here really gets tiring to me. I don't see why anyone feels the need to make fun of these two great fighters for these photos. As a matter of a fact, two talented boxers that are generally good looking, and can be seen smiling a bit here and there, might be just what it takes to bring more women into the fan-base of boxing. Wouldn't all you super-tough macho guys want that? Perhaps you prefer to keep our precious sport of boxing a boys club forever? Okay, lets keep up the parade of "scary" looking dudes that can barely form a sentence in the only language they know, with the sweet tradition of impromtu brawls, taunts of "I will kill you you, and fuck your wife!" and "all pussies get fucked, and your a pussy!" Blah, blah, blah. Has anyone else ever noticed that these fights that claim to be all about hatred and the need to kill the other guy, almost always turn out to be the biggest bores? Many of the really great fights I have seen were between friends, or two boxers that had no grudge against the other guy.

He's always friendly in the pressers. I've seen the pressers of him against Lacy, and they both look to be smiling at each other in that too. This is a sport, they don't need to hate the other one to beat the other. But these pictures are really weird looking... When fight night comes, it's not going to stop him from making his opponent all bloody. That's true to a certain extent as well, with emotions getting in the way of your gameplan. He just said a lot of disrespectful things about Joe's record, that was the only thing I really took issue with. Especially coming from a guy like Kessler.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, Joe is too nice to his opponets. Kessler's been dragging his name through the mud for months now, talking a whole lot of shit about how Joe's been going out of his way to avoid him. I'd be damned if I'd be that friendly with a guy who was saying the kind of shit about me that Kessler was about Calzaghe. That's how Italians are. Smiling till the very end, even until they kill you.
