Puncher, If Mayweather stops Hatton, and then decisively beats the winner of Cotto/Mosley, THEN HANGS 'EM UP FOR GOOD, where do you rank him among fighters of the past thirty years..and all-time? Are you Team Hatton or Team Mayweather? That seems to be all that's important nowadays. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of either fighter, but I don't think Ricky Hatton possesses the skill set to dethrone Floyd Mayweather and I personally wouldn't want Hatton to be the first fighter to defeat Mayweather... The only reason I would want Hatton to defeat Mayweather is so Ricky could then fight Oscar De La Hoya, and The Golden Boy could deliver Hatton his first loss... It is evident that Oscar wants Hatton, because of his desire to have a "classic war" before he hangs up the gloves, and Ricky is his prime opponent... A pure puncher that refuses to step back and he happens to be smaller than De La Hoya... On the other hand, I don't think Hatton will realistically defeat Floyd and I must root for the USA in Mayweather... Also, I would like for Mayweather to suffer his first defeat at the hands of body snatcher extrodinaire, Miguel Cotto, rather than Ricky Hatton...:boxing:
