anyone know the official score for barerra marquez round 7

Id imagine that the scores would have been 10-8 for Marquez without the knockdown. Counting the knockdown, Barrera should have gotten a 9-8 round or at the very least a 9-9 round. That video is pretty good and shows a lot of what really happened in that fight, but whats missing in it? The mid-late rounds, like the 9th 10th and 11th. My memory isnt perfect, but I think I remember Marquez winning a good majority of the later rounds. I thought Barrera took a lot of the earlier ones, before those ones. Ive seen this fight a ton of times, lol What I definately do remember though, is that I had it 114-113 Marquez, without the knockdown. With the knockdown, I had it 114-112 Barrera. It Was A 3point Swing it wasnt....... barrera was clearly losing the round tha makes it in the opinion of not biased people a 10-9 round for barrera, and barrera shouldnt have hit marquez when he was down under any circumstances, he should have been deducted a point, hell, if marquez was a pussy, he could have gotten barrera disqualified..... that round should have been scored 9-9 IMO, the judges gave it 10-9 for marquez so that makes it a one point flip....

yep they did, it was reported in fightnews and p4pboxing... they actually did a favor to barrera, as they had absolutely no obligation to somewhat make up for the referee's mistake...they could have scored that round 10-8 for marquez with no fault to them whatsoever.... All 3 judges saw the round a draw? In America? American judges never score rounds a draw, maybe 1 judge in 3 fights will make 1 round a draw (1 out of 9 total). Are you sure? I felt it was a close fight, especially towards the later rounds. But either way I'd favor it still for Barrera SD.

Marquez dominated the round before the knockdown so it would have been 10-9 for Barrera if you count the knockdown and the foul didnt happen. That makes it 115-113 for JMM still on my card.

Hell, after the fight you can see the difference between their faces and this is the part where ppl say marquez swells worse thats the reason why for that. I call bs Idk. It was a tough one to score. I thought Marquez did enough early in the rounds to win most of them. Barrera only did a lot in the last 30 seconds, but it wasnt enough. It WOULD have been a close fight had round 7 been scored correctly, but it wasnt. Idk, it really depends on what you like. I definetly like Marquez in the fight, i thought he was the clear winner. w/e, to each his own

yea thats quite a swing. it wouldnt have been a 10-8 round for him anyway, cause he was hurt and dominated prior the KD. so 3 points he was robbed of. But, idk if im alone here or anything, but i thought Marquez dominated the fight and i agreed with the 116-111 scores. the 118-??? was way to high though
