Roman "Rocky" Martinez

He is a very strong puncher and i think he could beat some title holders. Depends on which division he is in... which is he in??? He could beat anybody cause he is a strong accurate puncher. But he also got a suspect chin. Id love to see him get a shot, he is really really exciting to watch and seems like a hardwoking guy. Hed look for a title at 130. I remember reading on boxeomundial that he was working for a shot at Joan Guzman's belt. When Guzman moves up he will have to vacate his belt. Martinez should fight for the vacant belt. I get a feeling that will happen.

Thread from last year. Anyone thing he deserves a shot at a title NOW? I mean im not saying he will win, but he deserves a shot. Hes been on fire lately racking up good wins and entertaining everyone.

LOL, thats fucked up borikua. Roman has a huge heart but he'll always have trouble with boxers. Jimenez fought Roman's fight and got KOd if he would've boxed he would've won easily.

only decent powe,r nothing else, in fact he only beat azuquita because azuquita lowered his hands after recieving a big low blow....and then martinez clocked him with a very good right...but if that hadnt happened i think azuqita may have tired late but wouldve managed to survive and get a points win...

The kid has potential.. I like his style.. He could be popping up alot soon. That ni99a fights like he don't give a fuck if he gets hit. Dude has pop too.

Jimenez is a pretty good fighter himself, so I was impressed at how Martinez beat him. Jimenez has a lot of heart, martinez has alot of potential.

he's not ready for a championship belt although he has a very good endurance and always fight forward give him 5 more fights at least and he would be ready for a title match.
