Mayorga v. Margarito?

Bad matchup for Mayorga, he needs an opponent with a bad chin or defense. I think it would be a great matchup for Mayorga. Not an easy fight but one he can win. Margarito's not going to overwhelm him with speed and is there to be hit, he will exchange punches with him. It would definitely be entertaining which is a good thing for both them obviously.

This fight might actually be good but I dont think Mayorga can make 147. I dont think Margarito would take this fight on short notice at a catch weight but who knows.

I think Mayorga is too wild for Margarito. People underrate Margarito's defensive talent, he's pretty hard to land on. He blocked at least 50% of the punches Williams was dishing out, and Williams is a more accurate puncher than Mayorga is. Unless Mayorga could land something wild I doubt he'd have a solid chance. And Margarito's chin is as good as Mayorga's, if not better.

This actually might be a decent possibility. These are two out of three biggest names in the divison (if Mayorga does indeed drop down), along with Clottey, so this could be a final eliminator for one of the sactioning body belts. These two dudes are also pretty big names, but not big enough, so it could be a big stepping stone in rank and popularity.

why the hell not? they've both got names and i'm sure they could sort the weight out. i think margarito would whoop his ass but it could be entertaining as hell too. I'll watch this fight if it happens, should be a good one..
