Commentators for Cazares-Calderon were great!

yea that was a real turning point of the fight. Cazares was taking over at that point, but calderon has slowly boxed his way back into the fight and you werent sure if he was steady yet until he landed that beauty. Hopefully Calderon fights a pressure fight his own size so we can see a real war. Calderon is one of the slickest fighters i've ever seen. But IMO, he's a little over selective offensively. Could just be the fact that Cazares would huge though I think it had to do with Cazares' size. He only wanted to fight Cazares because a) Brian Viloria lost and so they had to go to plan b, and b) after Cazares beat Nelson Dieppa twice, the PR public wanted to see him dethroned and Calderon stepped up to the plate. I remember the build up to the Viloria fight before he lost to Nino was very intense. I still think Calderon would bitch Viloria like he's a 9-year old school girl, tho, but it's not as great a victory now that he's lost two of his last four with one NC.

that punch is nice as fuck, he made him follow him, gave him no indication he was turn back, soon as he twitched - BAM ! haha i liked that. jeje yeah i mean calderon was actually exchanging punches with cazares all the rounds except the 8 9 and 10 that he was trying to recover in the early 8 but it was a good fight.

didnt u like 'em? They were very enthusiastic. The main guy was very knowledgeable and interesting. Im surprised he's not a regular or like a versus or something, or at least a substitute. You really get the enthusiasm with them, unlike Lampley and Co do sometimes. With these guys it was like "OH! A GREAT JAB BY CALDERON!!!!" He almost never says anything negative about a fight, and tells Merchant that the fight is a good strategic battle when Larry starts bitching about the lack of action.
