What should MAYORGA do now?

I'm pretty sure he won't be waiting for him. I read (on here I think) that Giovanni Lorenzo has been bumped up to the main event against Mayorga. God that seems like a mistake for Mayorga. Why the fuck would a welterweight agree to fight a young, middleweight prospect? No one knows.

People who are calling Vargas "afraid" of fighting Mayorga I think are just dissappointed that this fight isn't going to happen as soon as we all wanted it to. Vargas has an actual blood problem. I will say it is HIS fault for getting up to like 260 between fights. But none the less he cant predict that he's gonna have this problem. Mayorga better not wait for Fernando.. Fernando will beat him if the fight happens.

I thought Forrest won the second fight. He might have... but he didn't win 7 of the rounds convincingly, so it's hard to fault the judges, considering how much harder Mayorga hits than Forrest.

Avenging those losses with an impressive win, would mean a lot for his legacy. Its a fight i would love to see, and considering Vernon comes into the ring healthy, i think he takes it by late round stoppage. Vargas is ridiculous, and Mayorga has the style to beat Vargas. And I really believe Vargas chickened out. People say other wise because Vargas stepped into the ring with Mosley and Oscar. But Mayorga hits hard as hell and is one scary dude, not the best boxer in the world but whos to say Vargas is a great boxer because hes not either. Both entertaining. Vargas got scared in my opinion, and I agree with dino which is odd because I don't really care for most of the opinions dino has but I can agree with him on this opinion. He should, but for his own personal gain he needs to ask for a shit load of money against vernon. I don't think anyone favors Mayorga to beat Vernon if there is a third fight. sense the fight was at 162, but mayorga's best weight is probably 147, should he fight a bum @ 160 and take the risk fighting a bigger man although he's a bum and losing...should he try to drop down to 154 and get a fight from a bum sense he said he automitly wants to fight @ 147 anyway, or should he not fight at all, take some more time off and get down to 147? Mayo should just stay put and wait for Vargas, if it looks like Vargas is not in a hurry to "get better' then see what other alternatives are there.
