Manny Pacquiao's training is a circus. What with hundreds of noisy fans limbering everyday inside and outside the gym.The gym is humid enough much more with the dozens of noisy fans inside. To add chaos is the presence of movie celebrities and hangers on inside the gym.
Freddie Roach cannot concentrate and becomes irritable at times. He demands a closed door training to Manny's manager Wakee Salud. They better put their act together as soon as possible....otherwise...

Enough with the jibber jabber, you are simply too scared to put your points on the line and your ego will be hurt. Just look at my profile, I've betted several times on this site. Only problem is, is that I've won all of them. So no one can really back me up to say that I pay off my losses. But c'mon will ya, we're not talking real $$ here, its freakin' internet points for chrissakes.
Be a man and play the game.
Now I'm a coward, awesome. You're a class act dude. With Cotto-Mosley, Mayweather-Hatton, Calzaghe-Kessler, Taylor-Pavlik, Pacquiao-Barrera, Holyfield-Ibragimov, Klitschko-McCline, Vargas-Mayorga(if it continues), Dawson-Tarver, Guzman-Soto, and so many other fights on the horizon, I'm spreading my points around as much as possible.
If any of my betting partners falls through, I'll contact you before the night of the fight just to get you off my ass. Deal?
Just like Atlas said "PAC's made good money, he ain't as hungry". What Teddy is really sayin' is that PAC can only beat PAC. It's not what MAB does, its which PAC shows up!
This is PAC's fight to win PERIOD
So basically what you're saying is that if Marco wins, you will say whatever you possibly can to try to discredit the man. "Pac was distracted" being your #1 choice. If Pacquiao is distracted it's his own fault because any fighter should take their opposition seriously, especially when it's someone proven like Barrera.
I won't be making any excuses for Marco if he loses, because I have balls.
Oh, aren't you so sweet. You'll move my guy to the numero uno spot once your overrated FHOF fighter is forced to retire by PAC. Thanks but no thanks, Lets put a bet on this. how does 10k sound? But bets are off if the fight ends in a DQ or some type of injury occurs in any round. Deal? put it in your sig!
Dude, what the fuck is with you? I've been a big supporter of Pacquiao's both in life and on these forums since I joined this site. You take shots at me simply based on that fact that I like Barrera and I'm picking him to outbox Pacquiao?
And a bet? with you? First off, did you not read my prior response to your bet offer on page 1? I never exceed 10K on any fight, so I can spread my points all across the board. I bet on every boxing match that comes around, including "Friday Night Fights". Secondly, I already have 10K on Barrera to beat Pacquiao with a much more respectable poster and Pac fan named Cold_Wave.
Lastly, I wouldn't bet with you on any fight now because you've targeted me twice based solely on my opinion and I doubt if I won, that you'd pay out.
Anything could happen in this fight,Pac can lose,Barrera can lose....
But Im just accepting the fact that at this point,Pac is just too much for MAB...
Pac is too much for Barrera, head on. That's why I think Marco agreed to a rematch. In his rematches Barrera typically outboxes his opponets en route to a decision. I think he still has enough in his tank to do that, but if he trades he's a dead man. There's simply too much power in Pac's hands for Barrera to eat 12 rounds worth.
I don't want to get it twisted, I just think people are writing Barrera off yet again. I love watching Pacquiao fight and I respect and admire the hell out of him. It just seems to me that lately Barrera has gotten 0 credit from Pac's supporters, and I hate to see any fighter disrespected. Especially one of my favorites.
If Barrera loses and retires, that's fine with me. i'll be sad to see him go but he's given me more than enough over the years. Once Barrera retires Pacquiao will move up to my vacant #1 spot of favorite fighter in a lower weight division.
ya'll be saying something like this as if pacquiao needs to train for some rocket-science type of punches and stuff. pacquiao by now knows his game and he will bring this game on fight night.
all he needs to do is get back in shape and wipe off the cobwebs, i dont see him making any extra styles just to suit barrera.
added to the fact that manny feeds to the crowd and had it been a bother to him i think he'll be the first one to tell them off. while it is a big help if they eventually turn the crowds off, i dont think it should be basis for rumors that pac is not taking this training seriously or reason for him to lose. dont act like ronnie nathanielsz.
I think the first thing to do is stop putting words in someone else's mouth.
If Manny loses, it's all his fault. There's no one to blame because after all this time, he still hasn't learned his lesson.
Is that a joke? You honestly think every Pacquiao fan would be like, "Wow! Barrera won that fight fair and square!" on this forum? Hell no. There will be quite a few that bitch about the way this fight goes down I think, either way it ends.
Wonder how could Pacquiao concentrate with a crowd like this inside the gym. It SUCKS!:boxing:

ROACH WANTS FANS OUT WHILE PACQUIAO TRAINS

The continuous overflow of crowd who trooped to RWS Gym to watch Manny Pacquiao train for almost two weeks now had been a big headache for Freddie Roach, forcing the celebrated American trainer to order a maximum enforcement of his "closed-door" policy at the sweat shop owned by well-known Cebuano promoter Rex "Wakee" Salud.
In his first day of workout with Pacquiao on Tuesday last week, Roach was surprised by the deluge of spectators who packed every nook and cranny of the gym. Roach was tolerant at first although he made a request to Salud to keep the gym off limits of Pacman fans.
But still more people are coming over each day, becoming a major concern for Roach who wants privacy for Pacquiao as his prized ward gears up for his highly-anticipated rematch with Marco Antonio Barrera on October 6 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"We just need to concentrate on this fight. It's nice to see a lot of people support Manny, but the thing is we're getting ready for a big fight. It's hot in here, we can't breathe more so with a lot of people around. He can't concentrate because there's too many distractions,"said Roach.
The 2006 Trainer of the Year said he understands that the Cebuanos adore Pacquiao, but he hopes that they will respect the
Filipino ring icon and be senstive of his needs as he shapes up for the most important fight in his career.
"I know the fans love Manny and I do too, but he's getting ready for the biggest fight of his life and we have to respect that," said Roach. "I'm going to talk with Wakee (Salud) and I think I don't have any problem in closing it down. I wan't Manny to focus on this fight."
Meanwhile, Pacquiao sparred for six rounds yesterday - three rounds each against Raymundo Beltran and David Rodela.
"He's getting better this time. He's now faster and more powerful. Right now, I can't say he's not in top shape. His timing is good. It's perfect. He's just started sparring and I believe there's more to come from him. He's going to the top level very soon," said Beltran in praising Pacman.
Overall since Rodela's arrival last Sunday, Pacquiao has sparred a total of 13 rounds. Roach targets Pacquiao to spar for at least 120 rounds before they leave for the United States to put up the final phase of their rigid training regimen.
Today, Pacquiao will undergo a light workout - his usual early morning jog,
When you are from a place with as many disadvantages as the Philippines or Manchester, you tend to put alot of faith in that one guy who represents you to the outside world.
good point...i can gurantee though that there are some Filipinos over there that are looking down at the Pinoys that are overcrowding the gym....opinions vary everywhere.....
remember Chavez Sr. ...he used to have big crowds for training..

Truth. It doesn't matter where you come from, even in the U.S this stuff happens in Cities where popular fighters come from. Boxing is a competitive sport with nationalistic undertones, whatever Country or City you come from tends to put their dreams of a better future on their's selected fighter's shoulders.
I doubt they'll end up needing excuses. I was wondering about how Pac was training, but based on that interview it looks everything is going great. Thanks for posting the interview.
This shit sucks, everybody is going to discredit Barrera when he takes Manny to school on boxing skills now. They bitch and moan about Barrera making excuses, (which he has, and I didn't agree with) but Manny won't be man enough (nor his fans) to admit it when Barrera schools him. The Pacquiao camp and his fans will say whatever they can to discredit Marco.
I was thinking the exact same thing
filipinos need to relax, manny pacquaio is just a good boxer, not some divine diety, let the guy train, stop going crazy trying to sneak inside the gym, harrasing him, wanting autographs
Yeah I agree with everything everyone says.
Pacquaio needs to start training for real.
He looks dreadful in this picture:

I like both fighters as well. I still feel Pac wins this one as well. I think he's one of those guys that when he gets in the ring it's all business. I say he either wins by UD or late round stoppage again.
