I haven't seen all of Cotto's fights so I only know about Torres, Corley, Malignaggi, and Judah.
It took some pencil and paper and a little bit of time - but I was able to amass that list. ^^^^^^ :fing02:
Am I missing anyone?
I found Myself rooting for Judah I was so Impressed..
and though he just Might NOT blow it this time.. and Would have been happy to lose my points if Just to see Judah Finally put it ALL together..
But the whole Reason I bet Against Him If You remember.. was NOT becasue I so much believed In Cotto.. But Because I doubted Judah..
But the Answer is Yes.. for a while I was Thinking Cotto was going to lose..
For Awhile I also though thought Floyd and Kostya were Going to lose Too..
Damn Judah is like Boxing's version of a COCK tease..:lol1:
:lol1: Classic
So then there is NO chance Judah could have embelished things a little.. ??
I am thinking I dont like to lose.. And will bend and manipulate things if that's what it takes..
If a guy lands NEAR my nutsack.. and I think I can cost him a POINT if I make like it landed square ...
I just might Embelish things a little.. It's not so inplausible..
I strayed slightly from your post, Welter - my bad.. I'm distracted on my way out the door shortly..
Mainly though, I stick to my response because I can't speculate - and your reasoning is very strong.
I'm sure Judah thought he could knock Cotto out with one punch the entire fight - which partially explains his peformance outside of his injuries and coincides with what we've both said about Zab's output.
So no.. I don't think Judah dove because he thought it would help.
I think Zab was dumb enough to think he could end it with one punch.
Damn Judah is like Boxing's version of a COCK tease..:lol1:
Buddy, you said it all right there. Sucks Judah is never able to deliver on his biggest occasions. Reminds me of Oscar a bit, but Oscar was able to do it on a few occasions.
I don't know.. Possibly.. Of course there is a chance.
But how much less likely is it that the first low blow, the one most popularly disputed, should come in the first round - and Judah dives???
In the first round?
What's his motive? To get a DQ in the first round without a warning?
Not likely..
I'm sure even Zab may not have known at that point he would be TKO'd 10 rounds later.. Think about how you were feeling at that point as a guy who had points on Cotto.. You thought your man was in serious trouble after round one - didn't you? Honestly.

Addison is shredding some Cotto nuthuggers like I shredded Mayweather nuthuggers. Getting points out the ass for it too, this is a damn good thread.
:lol1: Nice, you got me. :lol1:
Cheers :beerchug:

I appreciate your exploration, but we have to work with the films.
There's holes all over this.
But I will toss you a base level, generic answer - even though simple logic should prevent this..
So, alright....
Antonio, is Carlos Quintana as hard of a body puncher as Miguel Cotto?
(not that it matters.. just trying to make my point..)
You see, it all matters. Everything.
But anyway, if Cotto didn't get the same reaction he was obviously not hit with the same type of shot and/or in the same area... I mean.. C'mon..

How come we cant say Cotto wasn't slowed down by the two cuts caused by Judah head butts. Wouldn't it be fair to argue that hurt his performance as well? Cotto was hit low twice against Quintana, and Carlos was warned twice. Both shots looked like they landed flush below the belt. I bet no one would have acknowledged those blows if Cotto would have lost. Unless he rolled around and milked them. Credit to Judah for doing so...

This is you, sounding like a joke. This thread was hate being concealed in the simplest way possible, as you knew it was spark anger and piss fans off, so you could engage them. Don't try to hide it. You not fooling anyone. :cop:
Weak. :wank:
You have anything to say about being a hypocrite???
On second thought - please, fuck off.
You're no longer on any legs and you're still talking?... :pat:
I can't bring myself to interact with you a whiny little fool like you.
Thanks in advance. :fing02:

Oh, and motherfucker - nobody is trying to do shit.
If I sound "intelligent" that is because of two things:
1) That is your perception
2) That is reality

Yet, they were all well received, as opposed, to this pure hate thread. Don't try even sounding intelligent with your posts, when your just as much of a hater as anyone else. I've given Floyd credit for his skill in the ring, just not the way he handles himself in any other regard. Now if you want to call that hate, go ahead. But when you are asking about how many opponents rocked Cotto, assuming you want us to think, he's got a bad chin, your not getting far. The main people that rocked Cotto BAD were big punchers(Torres-Zab). He got hit by a shot on side of temple with Corley and that realy messed up his equilibrium. Anyone would have gotten messed up with that. The other shots are really stretching it. And besides, when all is said, it's not like he ever lost these matches and in most cases, dominated all of them.

Fuck what you're talking about.. :wank:
The only people crying about this thread are the fucking fanboys and those I have chosen to engage directly.
You saying this is "hate" is a fucking joke.
I'm pointing out the scientific truth.
Reality.
This isn't a matter of opinion. It's a matter of information gathering.
The threads you have made are direct ATTACKS on the character and careers of the fighters you single out.
You are a fucking HYPOCRITE.
The low blows probably took something out of Judah, but one thing people fail to realize is that Cotto got hit low too. He just didnt roll around and scream right after.
It sounds like you're implying that Judah OPTED to roll around, as has been alleged by only those on the Cotto side of this debate.
If what you're saying is true, and we are all having a realistic, respectful view of things - because let's be serious for a minute - Judah may be many things - but calling him a flopper is a FAR STRETCH. There is no basis and no behavioral history to support that unless you have some evidence.
Quite simply; the fouls Judah recieved were obviously much worse than anything that happened to Cotto - so why even invoke it?
