I wouldn't doubt it, Wladimir still has a suspect chin to me, plus Tua can hit harder than Cory Sanders & Lamont Brewster (the 2 guys who floored him). Granted, Tua needs a couple more warm-up fights against a lil' stiffer competition but pressure & steady head movement while staying low can whoop Wlad any day of the week. Tua did a good job against Rahman, I'd like to see that rematch & another fight b4 he takes Wladimir. Can U Dig Dat?!?:boxing:
Wladimir's critics will always call his chin into play. Perhaps Tua could knock Klitschko down if he landed flush but I doubt he could even get inside Wlad's jab at this early stage of his comeback.
I doubt Tua could even get inside Klitschko's jab, let alone knock him out. It's far too early to tell if Tua is "back" or if he just looked great because the guy he KO'd wasn't spectactular. But I'm interested to watch his future unfold.

The talent that a lot of guys have had has been ''worlds apart'' compared to Tua but a lot of those guys have ended the fight looking up at the lights. Tua needs to keep fighting and slowly upping his competition. One thing he does now maybe have which he didn't previously is more knowledge, but he needs to be in top form physically.

He looked to be in the best shape of his life. In terms of skills and reflexes though, he fought a nobody, so it's hard to gage. He needs to be tested against a McCline.. or maybe Vitali if he comes out on top against McCline. Depending on how he would do there, I guess in this heavyweight division, he has a shot.
Tua packs a solid punch but he's entirely too inactive to even be considered a small threat to the division at this point in time. Perhaps he could fight some of the lower ranked guys in the division but I don't ever see him being a threat to someone like Wladimir Klitschko. The talent that a guy like Klitschko has is worlds beyond what Tua is capable of.
Well his comeback has lasted longer than many expected it to and he has managed to get his weight down which has been surprising. We'll only know what he has when he steps up his competition but if he's fighting on a regular basis that can't be a bad thing. Getting that first round KO might give him some old confidence back.
Lets see what happens, I've not given up on him just yet.
i tua gets back into shape, stays active, with his punch and chin he could make a splash in the shallow pool of talent in the heavyweight division. but that all remains up to him and his efforts.................
He's a serious threat if you stand in front of him, I mean, him and Peter are probably the two hardest hitting HWs at the moment.
Give your head a shake!
Tua is done!
Like a pig left over night in a hawaiin lua! D-O-N-E !!
Ya sure..stand in front of him with your hands down and he can KO you..
DUH!
NEXT!
Its only cuz the HW div is so slow developing new talentthat anyone even remembers his name!......mind you...the Tua/Ibeabuchi fight might make you wish for a comeback! Even at 1/2 that level he would be awesome!
tua is too inactive, he packs a good punch, but i doubt he's a serious threat

This KO meant nothing. Did you see the body of his opponent from the weigh in? He looked soft and terrible. That said, I guess Tua could have a decent shot against some "top 15" guys like McClline, Holyfield, Ibragimov, etc.
