Wow, very little on Cotto, I saw Cotto outbox SSM, looked fast as hell, gave angles that most didnt expect, and people think that a smaller Hatton would do better or that SSM who just got beat by Cotto on his own game have a better chance than Cotto? I guess I am missing something here. SSM is fast, but was reduced to 1 punch at a time. Did SSM got old overnight? I dont think so, I dont remember who said it, but I guess it is correct, you look as good as your opponent allows you to look. I am rambeling now, see you all next week.
Hatton has the speed, and the angles, he brings a lot of pressure, on top of that, he closes the distance like no one else in boxing.
He has the best chance, Mosley is too old now and probably not the right style, Cotto is too slow and too orthodox.
But I have to say that after seeing Cotto-Mosley, I am not as convinced as I was that Mayweather would have an easy night with Cotto.
What I am SURE is that Hatton is going to make Mayweather fight like he never did and will never do again.
Ricky doesn't stand a chance. I believe that SSM will try to out box PBF which is the wrong thing to do. Cotto would run in there and give PBF some really hard body shots. I seen Cotto almost get K.O and still want to fight toe to toe. Cotto has the great power, combination and would cut off the ring. I believe Cotto would give him the best challenge. BUT?! Do I think any of these guys would win??! Nope
Think you were talking about ricky hatton their not Cotto my friend.
Mosley is the most dangerous welterweight period. Cotto is good at what he does, but its going to be a wakeup call to all of his supporters when Mosley touches him. The Only fighters that ever gave Mosley problems were fighters who were naturally bigger and taller. Cotto gets hit too much to go at it with power punching Mosley. Floyd creates too many angles for Cotto. Like Cotto, Hatton is an aggressive figher who presses his opposition. These tactics favor Mayweather, who picks off majority of punches and counterpunches well. Mayweather won't be suspect to a body attack from either fighter. Mosley on the other hand is a fluid puncher who matches with speed and athleticism. He throws five to six punch combinations, and executes it with accuracy. Out of the three, I believe Mosley has the better chance with floyd. In fact, I believe if this fight were to occur within two years tops Mosley would come out victorious.
Remember where you heard it first: step2meNYC > Mosley Stops Cotto period. Mayweather embarrasses Hatton. Mega fight between Mosley and Mayweather 2008.
Mosley has only been outboxed by guys who were bigger or taller, reducing him into a one-shot-at-a-time slugger. He won't do that against Mayweather. I would pay lots of $$$$ to see this fight. He doesn't have the southpaw advantage like Judah did and he's a little bit slower than Judah, but he won't quit either. If Mayweather doesn't have Mosley discouraged midway through, Mosley could win. I don't see Cotto or Hatton giving Mayweather trouble.
Which of these three do you think would give Mayweather the toughest fight at 147?

SSM. Ring savvy, experience, all out boxing brain. SSM's a bit old for Floyd though. If Mayweather beat DLH, I reckon he could do the same to SSM.
I feel as though it would be Shane. Shane has struggled with tall rangey guys. But he's bigger than Maywether and you could argue he's just as fast as him.
