keave is a good counter puncher, and usally punchs that you dont see it coming will hurt you most and when countering you are unbalance opening and usally you dont see the punch is coming so Maskeave have a chance to hit Peter with couple of counters and Wlad is an attacker and boxer more than he is a counter puncher.

As a Wlad fan though you have to like the idea of Peter blowing everyone out. Wlad has four or five straight KOs of good fighters, if Peter gets the same then their rematch will be great. I'd almost consider rooting for Peter against Vitali I think its showing how good Peter actully is.

He sure did, with a left hook of the back foot in the 12th round. A beautiful punch that only one man in boxing could throw. But yeah Peter has a great chin I think if Peter saw that punch coming it wouldnt have hurt him the way it did. (Obviously credit goes to Wlad for throwing the punch so fast Peter didnt see it.) Also I think it did more damage because Peter had already absorbed so much punishment in that fight.

I hear you. Maskaev isn't bad at all, he can punch and box a bit. But I exect Peter to work him with the jab and those short winging right hands. Maskaev does have a able punch but any damage he is going to do better be done early because at his advanced age he is going to wear down quickly

Peter got no neck, so you cant even turn his head with a punch. those head turners are one hitter quitters. He'll get ko'd eventually like everyone does, but it won't be from a single punch because like you suggest, he's not easily getting head-snapped. But enough repeated force to the head will put any man out.

The big O is going to surprise us all and completely ass-rape peter. The only way Maskaev is got a chance is, if Peter comes into this fight heavier than usual and not in good condition. Which I think btw, is a good possibility because Peter's experiencing his longest career layoff(9 months).

Like most, I'm picking Peter to KO Maskaev in dramatic fashion. However, I'm alittle concerned that Peter may come into this fight alittle out of shape and not at a good fighting weight(this 9 months has been his longest career layoff). If he does, Maskaev better exploit it...
