SACRAMENTO, Calif.--A multitude of fans were waiting for Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao to show up at yesterday's World Cup official weigh-in here, but were disappointed when the Filipino icon did not show up with not even a hint of his whereabouts.
However, sources have revealed that the Filipino boxing hero had returned to the Philippines last night.

All I can say is, what heck is going on with Pacquiao. He just flew in a couple of days ago and now he's gone again. I hope the story is not true but if it is, he is running out of time on his training. Unless he doesn't want to train with Freddie this time as mentioned in the story.
Check it out and see for yourself. Dumb move Pacman, very dumb!
If MAB beats Pac, the real victor will be Golden Boy. Golden Boy, if MAB does not retire yet, can set up the rematch of JMM and MAB. This time, for the Ring mag championship belt.
That is true but I still believe Pac's got MAB's number like Junior Jones did. Pac by another submission in the late rounds.

Excuses excuses..."oh i lost cuz i was very distracted" I can hear him already
No, Pac's training in PI is his and his management's decision. If they think it will give them a better training environment then it's justified.
I wouldn't go to stretch and say Pac chose PI over USA to train is because he thinks he is going to lose and this will give him enough alibi to justify his lost.
That line of thinking is ridiculous. I'm not implying that you are though.

PACQUIAO TO TRAIN IN PHILIPPINES
By Brad Cooney
I just caught up with trainer Freddie Roach and was informed that Featherweight kingpin Manny Pacquiao has flown back to The Philippines. Upon completion of the Barrera vs Pacquiao press conference, Pacquiao flew back to The Philippines with trainer Buboy Fernandez. Reports that there was a disagreement between Roach and Pacquiao were quickly squashed by Roach, “ There was no disagreement between Manny and I, there are some business matters that Manny needs to tend to in The Philippines, and it makes better sense for our training to be over there.” Roach went on to say, “ Looks like I will be flying to Cebu in the morning after the world cup fights tonight, and we'll be training for the remainder of Manny's camp over there.” More to follow soon.
That made me feel better. I believe Pacquiao is better off training at WCG than in PI due to possible distractions from the leeches aroud him, the media and his fans. I don't think Pac's sudden change of mind is a smart move because it took needed days that he could have used for his already short training time.
I wouldn't be surprised if Bob Arum and Michael Koncz were behind all of these. TR and GBP may have mend their relationships with one another but it is still in TR's interest to keep Manny away from Oscar. It's just my speculation though.
He's probably lost his hunger.
He needs to fight a guy that he hasnt already wooped. Like Valero or move up in weight and fight Juan Diaz where he could be the underdog u know?
At this rate he'll be 1-1 with Barrera, a guy who no one should ever underestimate, people have done so throughout his career only for him to surprise his opponents.

Business matter? Pac needs to concentrate on boxing when the fight is less than 2 months away.
i just hope they don't underestimate Marco, Pac needs to be in A1 for Barerra, anything less may spell doom...
Pac already did and will make excuses if he losses.
What the fuck is wrong with him lately?
His ego got big, bigger than PBF.
After his victory over Morales in the rematch, Pac's actions has not been acceptable(to me as a boxing fan). Not trainining for at least 8 weeks, cancelling flights, running for politicians which he has no business to go to, then flying back to Manila(if it is true).
If MAB beats him, i can see Pac making excuses that he was distracted or something. If he does he might lose a fan. I want Pac to beat MAB but sometimes i wish MAB will beat him in an embarassment way.
Pac is playing drama right now and is not a doing a good job as an actor. That is why i have been paying more attention to the other Filipino fighters: Donaire, Condes, Mayol, Gerry, Boom2x, Gorrez, Czar, etc....At least this guys, even though making less money than Pac, are giving the full dedication to their training.
