Leon Margules, executive director of Seminole
Warriors Boxing, promoter of WBO heavyweight
champion Sultan Ibragimov, says he is working
on putting this fight on free tv.
He revealed, "The TV deal's not done
yet, hopefully it will be mainstream
television and everybody will be able
to watch for free. I'm working on it."
This would be good for boxing.

if your a hw fan the joe mesi tua ppv sounds like good deal. not great since all the good fighters are fighting no names but it's much better then previous ppv's like Savarese v. Holyfield and Ibragimov V. Briggs
I thought that Holyfield in his 5th title opportunity can get at least Showtime interested. I guess not.
Showtime has boxing the previous 3 weekends before that, which is the first time all year they've had championship boxing that close together. Oct 6 Peter-Maskaev, weekend before Dawson vs. his mandatory, weekend before Klitschko vs. McCline. Can't see them taking a crew to Russia...
This is an opportunity missed. Surely even non-boxing fans will want to watch Evander being given CPR in the ring at the end of round 2 as his numerous children struggle frantically to get in the ring and steal his jewellry.
uhhh Wow:ugh:
The deal wont work out. I bet it goes to PPV. When was the last time ABC even had a boxing show?
They could strike a deal with MSG or Fox Sports. Evander fought on Fox Sports vs. Bates. Oquendo was a FSN PPV. MSG showed Mormeck-Bell II.
It better be free...who in their right mind would pay for it.
The same people who bought his fight with Savarese. Your right though it ain't PPV worthy, no Heavyweight fights are.
