What a fighter Morales was. He was, to me and I'm sure many others, the greatest warrior to ever hail from Mexico. Sure, there were others who had more natural talent, more power, and more technically proficient. But no one electrified the crowd like Morales with the emotional and exciting fights he provided us. He did more with unrecognized natural talent than many acclaimed great tallented and skilled fighters do, for no man in recent memory has carried the type of schedule Morales carried, and to be successful in it, only makes it the more incredible. So goodbye Morales, you will be missed and thanks for everything.
I agree with all of you. I've always admired mexican fighters for the heart and courage they bring to the ring. They symbolize what boxing should be. Not about money or politics but just getting in there and giving the crowd their moneys worth. God bless Erik Morales and the other great mexican warriors both before and after him.
Next to Salvador, Erik is my second most favorite Mexican Fighter of all time...
I am sure FANS know that you have proven more than enough your greatness!!
as logical as Einstein E=MC2; in boxing logic, Warrior=Erik Morales
