CHAVEZ jr certainly hasnt been in any taxing fights. All his opponents are obviously going to get knocked out. Most of them are smaller and everything.
And Gomez just knocked out and dominated Arturo Gatti. He wasnt hit much either.
There is no reason why they should wait to make this fight. In december, there is only 1 fight scheduled. Put this on DECEBER 15th on an HBO B.A.D card.
Unless of coarse, HBO's budget has run out, which may very well be the case because of the rediculously amazing end year they have going...
Chavez will probably fight on the Cotto-Mosley undercard. You have to remember that Junior only had 5 amateur fights so he's learning in the pros. That's why he hasn't stepped up his competition yet. I think Gomez is atually a good candidate for his upcoming fight. Arum had promised him a fight with a contender (Gatti, had he won against Gomez) by December so maybe we'll see him in with Gomez.

Son, what's up with your use of capital letters? Are you Welter Skelter's alt?
i seriously doubt that chavez jr's people are going to put him in the ring with gomez at this point. they are still trying to get him experience and as far as gomez is concerned he has a shit ton more experience then jr. just going by who they have fought alone is enough for jr's people to keep jr out of the ring with gomez.
i'm not saying that gomez is a world beater, but he'd beat up chavez jr at this stage of their careers............
don't get your hopes up fellas, jr aint stepping up in competition for another 5 years.................if he continues to stay undefeated.
Just like his father, he has to knock out 70 cab drivers first...
nah some cab drivers have strong chin that is why it pretty hard to rob a cab driver :D you rarely see one
it good for both fighters hey have same experince and good level of skills as well as publicity on this stage of there career but one of there O gotta go
thats actually a really good idea!
no way in hell Arum lends chavez in a non top rank promoted event. They should do it on a top rank boxing after dark program if they have a date available.
