People hate Floyd because he's number one. It's understandable. On top of that, he's the type who loves to acknowledge that he's number one. Everyone has an opinion about what he should do or not do. Who he should fight, and not fight. Fact is, he's only one man. Can only take one fight at a time. Give him a bit of a break. If he ducks the winner of Cotto/Mosley after this fight, then he's a pussy. Otherwise, he does what he does and he hasn't lost. So, clearly he's successful. Can't fault a man for doing what works. And I'm a Willie Pep fan. So, I like defensive fighters. (I know Willie had a nice offense, too. I'm just saying)

yeah i kinda hate big mouths. he has a right to boast that hes good cuz he is, but the disrespect the guy gives to his opponents looks genuine which i do not like at all. if he stuck to the boxing then maybe he wouldnt be the fighter he is, but he would get my thumbs up. you cant say and diss someone and then say i'll stand toe to toe with you and kinda run like in the dlh fight. if you do what you say then yeah i accept you're the man you think you are. I respect what you just said. But, what many of you that probably never boxed don't factor into your posts is that boxing is 50% psychology. Ali is the first to make it prominant and Floyd along with Sugar Ray Leonard are probably just as good at using it. Hagler was so sure SRL was gonna stand and fight him and DLH was sure that Mayweather was gonna do the same. It's not about being a man and doing what you say. It's about getting the other guy to think one thing and not being prepared for what happens.

I don't think Mayweather would lose, but it'd be fucking halarious to see him cry. Hatton would be top and I'd like to see where he would move on from there. Higher level opposition for sure.

i'd like to see how Mayweather recover from a loss.... all the greats did it ('cept for Rocky)... it would be a good gauge of how great he really is...

Why does everybody got to hate? Mayweather by a pretty good margin over Hatton. And by a TKO... Hatton does have skills... But if he gets cut, game over. Against PBF, Hatton has got a punchers chance. Gatti did too... And you saw what happened. At 140-147, this isn't even close. I'm not doubting Hattons skills. But at this weight class, Mayweather isn't NOTHING to call out. Trains HARD... Took Zabs best punch, took DLH's best punch, and has NEVER tasted canvas. Hatton is going down. TKO by PBF in the 10th round.

DLH had a better chance to beat Floyd, but fell short down the stretch. Hatton's only way of winning is hugging the shit out of Floyd. But with a decent Referee this shouldn't happen and Floyd gives Hatton a boxing lesson.

I'm ashamed of myself, but I would like to see him lose a decision in a fight that he won, just to see his reaction. If he goes all crazy in normal situations, how would he react if this happens? What do you think he would have said after the DLH fight if the judges scored it the other way? I'm :lame: I know

i don't really want ANY fighter to lose. I don't see how one guy losing makes me feel any better about myself. On top of that, the only way I would WANT him to lose if I would put money against him, but I won't in this fight.

Aside from being a fan of Ricky I think upsets are always good for the sport. When the best guy around is really unbeatable it makes the whole game less of a spectacle. At least Marciano had the good grace to get knocked on his arse a lot.
