But a lot of false confidence and bad technique lead him to his downfall.
Excellent point.
Yeah you're right bro, defensively PBF is a lot better, but he has more technical skills. Judah can roll with punches and has decent movement, but like you said, as soon as he gets hit or guys don't melt in front of him, he's finished.
I don't understand this either. Why be a boxer? I mean he gets hit, and that is it. It's like he equates being hit once or twice with losing in his mind and when he gets hit, mentally he throws in the towel. Terrible flaw both characteristically and professionally.
I agree with this completely, at least on the offensive side of the game. He does get hit a lot more than Floyd, but he does look faster, and his punches just seem so crisp when he throws them. I will never forget Floyd's head snapping back at least a foot when Zab hit him with a left hand in the 4th round of their fight, but it is true that he just shells up when he gets hurt.
Zab has all the natural makings of a champion. I won't count him out just yet, but he has little sand left in his hourglass. I watched this fight again a few weeks ago and I was so impressed with Zab the first few rounds and even re-evaluated the way I had scored. It was not even but, I think he almost took 5 of the 12.
The Last two post are true. His father should have handed him over to another trainer when he became a contender in the Pro ranks. But, oh no, Yoel had to have his time in the spot light. Zab could have been a great fighter, I remember being very excited about him in the late 90's. But a lot of false confidence and bad technique lead him to his downfall.
Who cares?? Zab Judah's time has come and gone. He is a guy who had more talent then PBF, but equal composure to Mike Tyson. It's sad, but it's true. I was one of the biggest Judah fans ever, I met him in Manhattan, he's a good dude. When it comes to the mental game and maintaining his focus, he just can't do it. We saw Judah live up to his talent once, and that was the 2nd fight against Spinks. Before everybody dismisses that, remember what Spinks did Taylor (he got robbed)...Zab will always be a KO threat, but I'd never bet for him, if he couldn't beat Cotto, he's not an elite 147.
BTW, after he wipes out that can on FNF finale, he wants to fight Margarito. He was calling him a coward and saying Williams was far ahead of Margarito's league, and that Zab wanted to retire Margarito and shut him up once and for all.

He can move back down to 140. The other 147 lbers will eat him alive. He'll fucking destroy hatton. If he gave Cotto and Mayweather a run for their money for 3-4 rounds. Then a smaller guy like hatton shouldn't be a HUGE problem. Hatton was damn near ready too fold over against a light punching Collazo. Imagine what Judah will do to him. Collazo is more focused though.
I don't think Judah should move up. I mean, he is struggling at welter. Move up??? Why?
As for his father/trainer Yoel, it's a given he needs a new one. Hopefully, he'll do so soon.
No, move up to 154.
140 is a boring ass divison. Especially with Hatton moving up to 147 to fight Mayweather. Who knows if he'll stay up there (probably won't), but it's still a boringer divison.
Well.. If Hatton loses, he goes back to 140. If he wins, he might go back down too. I doubt it. As far as the rest.. You have Paul Malignaggi, Vivian Harris, Junior Witter, Demetrius Hopkins, Kendall Holt.. hell even Amir Khan could get to 140 sooner or later.. It's a decent little division.
Judah is definitely able to make 140. There's some good competition at 140. I think it's a consideration he should make. He has not done great at welter. (4-4-1, I think.)
Uhhh. Who might you be referring to now that Hatton is moving up?

Yes, since he is throws the fight when he gets hit hard; he should dry out as much as possible to fight weak fighters, so he can pile up the UDs. It honestly probably would be a good career move.
