Hatton need an L to improve

seems to be a lot of hostility towards Hatton from are Colonial cozens is it becasue they are really shitting themselves that big mouth mayweather is about to be shut up for good.

He was great in his last fight; he's fine. But an L would serve him ok. All the great fighters have losses, because they've had tough fights. Cotto, Hatton, and Williams are next. I think staying undeafted overrated the fight and generate alot of hype.

to be fair I think the Brit fighters are more protected that US audiences expect - I mean Calzaghe, Hatton, hamed - all had 0s but none have resumes to match Toney, Hopkins, Mosley, De la hoya. Warren loves keeping the 0, hence his love for the WBU WBO lower risk route to a world title, avoiding the top Brits, commonwelath and Euros wherever possible. hameds resume at the time was top notch

i definatly agree with that i was going to post somthin similar earlyer but my boss was moaning at me to start workin lol damn your boss. I seen Hatton pre-Tszyu fight and when seeing it i was expecting the same as the HL. when seeing Hatton doing left hook reminded me of beautiful day by U2 because of one of the HL :D

If Hatton loses to Mayweather at 147, then loses another fight at 147, he's done. Why remain at 140? well it a plan B to regain his publicity. Witter will be willing to fight Hatton no matter what he was calling him for long time

that is one of the problem with boxing today the fighters are afriad to lose the zero so they would take a fight because it could be risky for them. if hatton loses now he loses the platform he needs to perform and that is the american audience , we all no this 1 loss and your exposed formula that the americans use no it will make him fight harder. That is for you british fans to keep support him even after his loss if not he will weather away bit by bit. The is part of the fan that people should understand it not when you fighters is up but it when he goes down and you still support him. He will go back to britian and fight Witter and then he will regain his form. and losing to Mayweather doesnt stop him making big fight because Mayweather is very good boxers so no harm in that

Hatton Vs. Mayweather at 147 Mayweather UD, there's your first lost for Hatton in November if it happens. I don't see why Hatton would want to continue from there. He has nothing to prove at 140, yet he's not good enough for 147.

Fuck that - Hamed didn't make a comeback because he'd lost any desire to compete. He had plenty of money, young children and a disruptive family, and so training was not a priority for him anymore. Hatton would most likely retire after a loss aswell. I think he's almost made the money he wanted, and a loss at this stage would most probably mean his punch resistance was going (it's unlikely he'd get beaten on the cards IMO). Hatton without a chin is a mediocre fighter.

Hamed didnt have a chance to comeback not because of him but because of promotional reason and security. what would you think would happen during ss 9/11 and even after couple of year from that it was chaos even in Britian. As for Tyson he lost because he lost himself before lossing to Douglas. everybody knew that too he was going down hill. Ricky Hatton has different mentaility then Tyson and Hamed. I think he will comeback stronger after a loss because the pressure of the zero goes away and he is willing to fight anyone anywhere and anytime. An L on your record may indeed help Hatton but this isn’t always the case look at Hamed once he was beaten or should I say destroyed by Barrera his whole cloak of invincibility was shattered and he new people would be queuing up to beat him same thing happened to Mike Tyson, that’s why Hamed chickened out of the sport because he new he was finally exposed as a crap fighter and the loss destroyed him completely.
