???
Fill in the blank. Don't tell me who you want it to be. Tell us who you think it will be. Rahman, Vlauev, Holy, insert title holder name here.
Who's next for the big guy?
Dude, what do want to see,... Holyfield carried out on a stretcher and permanently brain damaged? It's not gonna help Klitschko's legacy if that's what you want...
AHHH, but Holyfield has a " punchers' chance " , right? I mean, what's neat about Wlad fighting, and I am a fan, is that he MAY go down, just when he's killing ya..Look at Brewsters' first fight, Wlad is pounding him, and I am saying..." KO!...KO!! ... Way to go...Wlad ",, then....OOOPSSS....down he goes after teeing off on Brew Brew for the first 4 rds, and losing... JUST like that = :crucified
No, I started one thread about what the story of Holy taking Wlad would mean to boxing history. A bunch of other started all those other Holyfield threads......Well Lance ( is there another Lance Uppercut?? )
Dr Vooh says regarding that 50/50 poster...I say Holyfield will draw more fans than Rahman...so Holyfield it will likely be, unless of course, Wlad gets a shot at unifying
McCall.
Unlike Holyfield, he's actually beat a ranked contender just recently. He's older but the power and the chin no doubt remain intact. He will be a tough fight and he has name value with the famous Lewis win.
No, I just want to see boxing in the sportspages again, so I can talk to people about it, instead of needing to come to boxing forums to discuss it! The only boxing fans besides myself in Vancouver are Filipinos, but they're mainly interested in Pacquiao.
1) Wlad will not injure Holyfield
2) Holyfield is younger than Foreman was when he was champion at age 48
3) Marciano gave Archie Moore a title shot at age 44
4) This fight will raise the profile of boxing. I want my favorite sport to become more popular again.
Really? Klitschko literally hits like a steel hammer and combine that with Holyfield's warrior heart, spells a recipe for disaster. It would be ten times worse than Holmes-Ali.
I understand that you want to see Klitschko become a recognizable mainstream athlete but this is just not the way to go about it..
I think Holyfield would be the best opponent, to raise the profile of boxing. I wouldn't mind seeing Wlad fight Gomez, McCall, Briggs, Thompson or Rahman...
Thompson is the only one who would have any chance of beating him, though.
Young boxers like Povetkin, Dimitrenko, Chambers and Arreola are not quite ready for Wlad yet.

I say Oliver Mccall; he's a very underated fighter who's earned a shot at the WBC but will likely have to wait for awhile until he gets his shot. I think that Mccall would be very game for this fight and might make it 'interesting' for Wlad...
man i think next on Klitscho listis either Valuev or the chagaev-ibragimov. If kiltscho fights in November i say its Valuev...but i think that he's going to be moved to early 08 because HBO neede that budget money to put on Calzaghe-Kessler.....I would make sense that he take on chagaev or ibragimov in febuary 08. I think Valuev vs Kllitscho on regular PPV would be a good match in november though
I can't do that. I grew up on the great fights of the 70's, 80's through the 90's in the heavyweight division. I've seen some of the greatest fights in boxing history take place during this time from the heavyweights.
I'm looking for something. The one epic matchup out there (Wlad vs Vitali) will never happen so we must seek out something else. What? I don't know.QUOTE]
I know. welterweights
You really should give up on this division though. It's gotta be the worst of all time. Hopefully Wlad gets KO'd soon so Vitali can unify the titles and save us. Nothing gayer than their dream of being champs at the same time.

I don't know, but these Mayweather, Hopkins, Wright, Hatton fights of today aren't exactly doing it for me either. Cetainly not enough to make me give up on my favorite division in boxing.
Yeah, but didn't you already start two threads about Holyfield and Wlad? I mean I guess there are no better options right now than Holyfield. I say it's 50/50 between Holyfield and Rahman.

Why do you want to see Holyfield fight him so bad. You're like the guys that were calling for Mayweather to fight Margarito. Granted, Holyfield at least probably has some sort of shot against Wlad whereas Margarito would have had none. But still, why call for fights that are predetermined?
??? , I just asked who you guys think it will be. I didn't say anything about want.
And what I want is to see some life from the heavyweight division. I'm looking for some great fights!
