Excited about Maywather-Hatton?

Hatton will be the first undefeated opponent Mayweather will have faced since Diego Corrales which was in my opinion is his best fight. That was back at 130 pounds.

Like I've said many times. Hatton has a great counter style to Mayweather, he can bully him, dictate the fight, cut off the ring and make Mayweather fight him. He can fight at a torrid pace for 12 rounds hitting you all about the body, arms, head, this is how you have to fight Mayweather and X factor here your under estimating in Hatton is his footspeed, I think he will be able to get inside on Mayweather and cut him off. And the guy doesn't know how to lose (Hatton).

See I disagree. It would be on PPV and everyone would be pissed off that Mayweather killed someone again by "running". However, I do think PBF would want to hurt Hatton for all the talk and would sit down on his punches and not run as much as people think. Don't get me wrong, he's not going to stand and trade, but I do think it would be a much more entertaining fight than the pessimists are saying. Besides, another reason it is good for boxing is that it helps set up the possibility of Cotto-DLH because I don't think Hatton can beat PBF, and there's no way DLH fights Hatton after a loss to PBF, narrowing his list of possible opponents down to Cotto and perhaps a Tito rematch after all, assuming Tito wins in January.

I want to see Floyd in with Mosley. I've been pulling for this fight since before the De La Hoya fight. I guess it will never happen so this is probably the next best thing. It will probably be a 9-3/8-4 decision for Floyd, unless he stops Hatton on cuts. Hatton is going to get hit flush a lot, but its still possible he can rough Floyd up when he gets inside. Unlike De La Hoya, he IS a body puncher, and he hits at different angles. Should be interesting...

Why is anyone excited about this fight? Why does anyone think that Hatton has a chance against Mayweather?
