I dont think Wlad was 100% against Brewster in the first fight

this fight had the biggest turnaround ever... stamina and a leaping left hook haha

he punched himself out, brewster endured and knocked wlad out. if he hadnt gassed, he would have won. and thats the story of wlad/brewster 1. the end.

Brewster could of had a chance if he still fougth that same way, but mcgirt has him ifhgting like an idiot now. the detatched retina dint help either... but mainly it was brewsters mistake of tryin to box either than just fighting the guy.. How many fights have you seen where a guy displayed symptoms Wlad did in that fight against Brewster. I have yet to see one, and I've seen fights from the old days where guys literally collapse from exhaustion in brutal non stop fights and they dont act like that.

Most of the people here have animosity for Wladimir because he is incredibly overated. I will readily admit I have an animus for both Klitschko's. I always thought they were over-hyped and literally shoved down our throats by HBO. And time proved me correct: Wladimir despite his obvious skills is basically a mediocrity because he's just not mentally into the fight game. Vitali, what can I say except that his greatest victory was a tko loss to Lewis. That's something to really hang your hat on, eh? shoved down our throats by HBO is Floyd Mayweather and Roy Jones, Vitali Klitschko only had but a few fights on HBO and most of Wlad's career was off American TV networks as well. He earned his spot there when he proved himself as an elite and as a title holder. And people want to watch heavyweight boxing. Would ESPN be a more appropriate venue? The #1 and elite level heavyweights will always generate interest and belong on the top boxing programs. Even if it's Leon Spinks. (Who Wlad obviously isn't.)

These other guys I mention though did not garner anything near the level of such passioned animosity that Wlad does and they maybe have been more deserving if anybody is.

I'll take Wlad over Trevor Berbick, Michael Spinks, Leon Spinks, Old Ali any day as heavyweight champion.
