Kessler beat Calzaghe??
Here is that i imagine how they will look like
The fight is on and we are in round 8 and Calzaghe has eaten kessler's straight right hand 50-100 times in seven rounds. Can you feel the Calzaghe-fans let their ringmuscles go in agonizing pain and humiliation. The cold shivering feeling spreading from the buttom of their spine, to the rest of their degenerated body, reaching their brainwashed(nutshuggers) and dilusional brain.
When Joe lies on the canvas with spastic shivers uncontrollably shaking his legs like a vibratordildo. their eyes are glazed and unfocused. Afterwards the tears and cryin. The unfathomable reality of a complete humiliation of Calzaghe after being schooled for round after round.:owned:
:omfg: :nana: :booty:
Thats a nice summation , now lets have a look at what your actually saying and we will go down your list from the top
Eubanks great fighter , retired came out of retirement fought Joe with 3 weeks training and said he would have won if he of had more time , lost again and retired for good .
Thornberrry , the great Joe C carnt stop him but Wharton and Mundine can .
Starie , stopped by Francis , lost to Ottke lost to Thysse who was stopped by Kessler .
Brewer , stopped by Echols who is a middleweight and beat by Ottke twice right befor Joe .
Jimenez 6 opponets prior to Joe had 27 losses and 6 wins .
Salem , lost to Veit fight before Joe and stopped by Bute fight after .
Ashira is a middleweight was stopped in the 2nd by Masoe a middleweight 2 fights before Joe .
Then we have Lacy who was built on hype and only tested agains fringe contenders .
No one is doubting Joe is not a good fighter , but this stuff of him being elite and an all time great is rediculas , although he is undefeated he has been fighting a lot of opponets that are at most top 20 fighters with the better names being at the end of there careers when they were faded and about to retire , Ive said it before his resume is padded for the rap he gets .
Where did I say his resume was great or him being elite or an all time great???
In fact didn't I actually say 'The bottom line here is that Calzaghe by his own admission hasn't had the career he hoped he would have had, this though takes nothing away from his undeniable talent' ?
Also I'm sure that I was also pointing out that his talent has allowed him to comfortably stay Champion for 10 years and that the fights were he has had to dig deep have been few and far between.
So by breaking down my list you have proven nothing really because I never offered the list as anything other than factual evidence that Joe had successfully defended his title 20 times and that of those times when he had to go the distance he often won very easily.
Also you cannot judge a fighter by how another fighter beat one of his opponents because each fight is different and styles makes fights so....?
The bottom line is that Calzaghe is an extremely talented fighter, one of the most talented of his generation but due to factors within his control and those outside of it he has not had the career he should have had, it doesn't mean that he hasn't got the ability because that's plain to see.
Besides, if Lacy wasn't the big win it was supposed to be (or was it because Lacy was so outclassed?) would a Kessler win be, or would then Kessler become a over hyped fighter simply because Calzaghe beat him?
I wouldn't be THAT surprised if Joe lost to be honest. I'm picking him to win, but he's 35 now, has brittle hands, and has not got the mega payday he's been waiting for.
Kessler is hungry, at his physical peak, and although he is a stand up Euro style fighter, he's a lot better than the Veits of the world, and will leave nothing in the ring.
I think you'd be brave to pick against JoeC in a UD by 7-5 to 9-3.
What kind of a shithead are you? Do you think that when a fighter loses, it does something to their fans other than disappoint them? Your life must be the shits, if you have to live vicariously through a boxer, and suffer so when he loses. Sucks to be you, pal.
Personally, if Calzaghe were to lose the fight, the most traumatic thing that'll happen to me will be the loss of a dollar bill to a guy I watch fights with and usually make a token wager of a buck.
What the fuck is it with so many people who visit this forum? I'm starting to wonder how many of you are past puberty.
If you don`t like the post, don`t read it,you fucking retard
oh by fighter i thought you mean if mayweather had his arms tied behind his back and was blindfolded and calzaghe had a krowbar so thats why i voted for calzaghe.
I'd still pick Mayweather
The bottom line here is that Calzaghe by his own admission hasn't had the career he hoped he would have had, this though takes nothing away from his undeniable talent.
Calzaghe at his best is one of the top all round fighters on the planet, he can box on the front or back foot, has a great defence, good chin, decent power and awesome hand speed with great ability.
If you cannot see that then you do not truly understand the sport of boxing.
However Calzaghe prefers fighters to come on to him ala Lacy and Kessler will not do this, he will attempt to out jab and outbox Calzaghe.
This is were it gets tricky for those posters who cannot see past their own arses, study Calzaghes record and think laterally and unbiasedly about his career and you will see that even on a poor night (hes had a few) he wins an all out boxing match with ease.
Eubank comfortably on points (although past his best an extremely hard fighter to beat on the cards)
Thornberry easily over 12
Starie easily over 12
Brewer comfortable
Miguel Angel Jimenez easily over 12
Kabary Salem easily points wise over 12
Evans Ashira easily over 12
Lacy easily over 12
His two closest fights points wise have been Reid (he was poor but still had too much for the former WBC and WBF Champion) and Bika (which he still won by a few rounds)
His other 11 defences he has won by stoppage.
Therefore discredit his career if you want but he has been the Champion for 10 years now and has never really looked like losing it at anytime hence I predict him beating Kessler by about 5 rounds on a points decision.
If he doesn't then so what? He's 35 had a good career and will eventually lose sometime if he continues to fight! I certainly wont stop posting on here.

Am i the only one who finds him funny?
He makes me laugh everytime.
I never said you were a hater, just that you dislike him.
In regards to the question of him being better than Mayweather, I think that the vast majority of people who picked the Calzaghe option there, defined the question differently than you. I figured it as being a better fighter than boxer by the deliberate phrasology of the question. Thus meaning that if PBF and Joe had a fight, outside of a boxing ring, no gloves...who would win?
Nah, they meant better fighter inside the ring, the whole thing was just embarassing for NSB, grown men trying to argue that mayweather was the better boxer and calzaghe was the better fighter, rediculous when mayweather went up 5 weight classes and kept de la hoya honest with his power.

Ahaha. What you mean is that he dislikes Calzaghe which you enjoy.
Im not a hater, seriously, but when people start Talking about Calzaghe being better than Roy Jones, James Toney, even Mayweather (yes there was a thread i think a while back when people voted for calzaghe being a better fighter than Mayweather lol), then i will say something about it, cos its just rediculous, Calzaghe is a world class fighter in a poor divsion, thats it for me.
You got an unbiased opinion TS and you are backing your opinion without the moronic bullshit these other JC fanboys come up with
Ahaha. What you mean is that he dislikes Calzaghe which you enjoy. The unbiased opinion is the one that most sensible Calzaghe fans (of which there are many of us on here) have. That Kessler is a good boxer and will be a top-notch opponent for Calzaghe, however Calzaghe is too fast, too busy and is more technically sound, awkward and diverse for Kessler to have anything more than a 40%ish chance of winning, MAX.
Are you serious TS because of the two I reckon Cal is hype , he is the one with all the raps on him , all the publicity , always slagging somebody down , even Kessler was a shitman before the fight now its on its his toughest and Hopkins and Mundine are shitman , Cals the mouth and the hype , not Kessler :lol1: ,
Kessler is the quite one with not much publicity not much noise just a quite achiever , the guy hardly says a bad word about anybody , but he did say to joe , if you dare :) lol , then when you look at Joes resume its ordinary , this whole JC thing is the biggest con since Al Capone . the guy has beat nobody to justify whats getting said , his resume is propped by old men and propped fighters , I,ll debate the great JC and who he has beaten anytime you like because he has nothing in there that makes him an elite fighter .
Hey Naz-Fan , evertime I see your avatar all I can see is Barrera schooling him , sorry but thats the vision I get .
I didnt get to read all of this, cos i got some muppet telling me fighting Byron Mitchell and Charles Brewer is the same as fighting DLH, Trinidad and Jones Jr,
What i will say is this
- Yes i am serious.
- Yes Calzaghe is unbelievably hyped on NSB for reasons i dont know.
- Yes Calzaghe's resume doesnt warrant the hype he gets
but.
Kessler = Robot, the footwork equivalent of the terminator, and thats why i reckon he will get beat by JC.
No kiddin? Team Palles second best boxer is female..:puppy_dog
Calzaghe humiliating Kessler? That won't happen. What he does looks very simple, but it's damn efficient. Win or loose, he won't fade away just yet.
I'm not floating on the hype, I've seen this guy develop through every one of his fights.
reda zam zam and spend abazi looked pretty good up until their recent losses, i'm sure they'll both be back though.
No offense to other Kessler fans, but I think if Calzaghe beats Kessler, they are gonna have a harder time accepting the Viking Warriors first defeat to the so called Paper Champion ... If Kessler beats Calzaghe, I think Calzaghe fans will be able to say; OK, Joe got beat .. Lets move on!. I want Kessler to win as much as any other Kessler fan, but I'm not gonna get up in peoples faces and start "internet fights", just gonna kick back and enjoy the match and accept whatever the outcome will be !

I think that you are the only Dane who will realistically be able to show his face around here if Calzaghe beats Kessler.
I think that if Kessler wins, there'll be plenty of Calzaghe fans simply able to admit that he got beat by the better man and continue on with their posting happily enough.
I'll go along with this, if Kessler wins its fine by me, i'll happily admit i was wrong, i still think kessler will get overwelhmed though, i still think he has good boxing skills, but is hype.
i just can't see kessler beating joe with that same one-two style that he's used against andrade, mundine and beyer. Calzaghe may have some trouble in the early going, but it won't take him long to figure kessler out.
he didn't just say it was his destiny to beat him, but to destroy him, which is a strong possibility.

As Calzaghe said late saturday evening at 10.14pm, it's his destiny to beat Mikkel Kessler.
I for one believe it's his destiny to deliver pizza, but I won't argue over spilt milk.
