More boring to watch Winky or B-hop???

neither of them are boring to watch. everyone has their styles and it might not appeal to some people, but dont disrepespect two great fightes by askin who is more boring to watch...

hmmm... From what I saw last night, neither one made the fight incredibly exciting to watch. However, they've both been in pretty exciting ones in the past. Most notably, their performances against Trinidad whom they both dominated in spectacular fashion. And Hops vs Tarver and DLH. So, I can't rag on them that much. I will say B-Hop was the smarter of the two, knew how to use ring quite well, and knew when to turn it on for the win.:boxing:

Apart from the topic: Now that Winky lost, you people can start to admit, that he is not the best or not nearly at the top of the best technician's out there. His footwork isn't well at going sidewards, he often drops his right hand after a jab, which can be countered and he throws his punches arkward, which makes them weak.

Hopkins is without a doubt the more boring of the two. Wink can be monotonous quite often (which tends to get confused with "boring"), but is usually at least dancing as hard as he can. Hopkins fights the way he does to control the pace of a fight (as in, slow it down to a crawl) and which leads to way too many stop-and-starts, which as Lampley correctly noted earlier in the fight, makes all of his fights devoid of any real ebb-and-flow. It's a damn shame, because the mid-90's version of Hopkins was one of my favorite fighters to root for and watch. I understand that as you get older, you need to change up in order to survive at the top level, but damn he went almost from one extreme to the other.

Well, I was rooting for Hopkins, but Wright took the fight to him, and he reverted to his old elusive self.....

I like winky style, if i could fight like him i would not have too block the punches with my chin. It's not very exiting, but i like clean fights with out holding. And his fights against trinidad, taylor and mosley were good

Every once in a while Bernard will suprise you like when he fought Trinidad or Oscar.. Winky's fight's are always the same boring defensive minded fights that are going to go the distance. I just don't care for Winky's style of fighting. I respect it but its just painful to watch.
