How was Zab able to beat PBF to the punch the first 5 rounds consistently???
Sure doesn't look like that based on this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/TistoGaret/floydzab.jpg
all this kostya talk is ridiculous too, zab handed him his ass in the 1st round and after getting clipped, should've taken the 8 count, he would've been fine, by the time nady waves it off zab's completely coherant. QUOTE]
Sorry Buddy. Don't just listen to Zab's account. Watch that clip again. A couple of extra seconds would not have given Zab his legs back. His balance was gone. Tszyu was a superb finisher. It would not have taken long with Zab unable to even stand up for Kostya to hammer that right in again.
Let's say for arguments' sake that he lasted the round. We all accept that Zab has a couple of good rounds in him then he drifts off and is comparitively useless. Tszyu was constant through 12 rounds.
Pretending that Zab started the 3rd fresh as a daisy (course he could after that KD) he has 2 rounds left of quality Zab.
Tszyu has 8 rounds to smash mediocre Zab.
Lots of luck selling a Zab victory over Tszyu.
Zab is all hype. He was someone that could never live up to his billing. A word that sums up his career is, inconsistant. He's had shit performance after shit performance only to have a great performance, and then follow up with more shit performances. Saying he has all this great talent and potential to me is overrated. He's quick for the first 3 or 4 rounds, then fades. He has power based on his speed, without the speed, his power lacks. His stamina which is the reason he fades, sucks. He basically just dries out and fades the longer the fight goes as his stamina doesn't keep up with his high 1-4 round pace. Then to top all this off, his mentality sucks. He's just lost mentally in so many fights that it's one of the main reason he loses. He's beat before he really lost the bout. I never saw anything in Zab that made me think he was great or had great potential. Not with his consistancy.
thats BULLSHIT u jus not born wit it YOU have to train to develup all that stuff....n mayweather is EASILY more talented then judah and a better boxer.... i mean lets break it down
speed..mayweather
accuracy...mayweather
defense..mayweather
power..judah
ring knowledge..mayweather
i mean mayweather better then him in EVERY way possible ecept power

Zab Judah hasn't lost a fight thats why.
The Tzyu fight was a horrible stoppage and Judah was DOMINATING the whole fight until he got cought. Lucky shot...
Spinks cought him unfocused. Apparently Judah didnt even train for the fight. He got him in the rematch anyway.
Baldomir? Pshh...Judah was too busy doing Don Kings work. I mean how could Judah be focused against a broke bum who sells dusters to feed his family?
Mayweather lost the first four rounds. Its a 12 round fight, but who cares.
Cotto? You all saw it. Cotto had to cheat his way to victory. I mean Judah low blowed Cotto too, but that doesnt count remember. Judah does no wrong! Cotto is a cheater! Judah never low blows. Can you imagine him nearly causing a riot with a deliberate low blow? Never!
There it is fellas. Judah is the best to lace the gloves.
This post is sarcasm at it's worst. Nice effort...

***Double Post***
he's flashy, has fast hands, and has power for the welterweight division.
as far as zab being one of the best talents out there, i beg to differ. zab is the classic case of a talented striker, where he has a lack of discipline in almost every other important part of boxing, mainly in his defense and mental strength.
first of all he really hasn't any defense. he can slip punches this and that, but he always keeps his hands down and low, he pulls straight back, and then pulls back to the side right after pulling back and does it more than often. leaving himself open while he's crossing from right to left or left to right, leaving his chin exposed to get touched.
he has next to no footwork, no lateral movement, he either plods forward or he's leaping in with a counter left uppercut (which is highly effective for him, but that falls into his talent of being a talented striker). no circling, no angles, very rarely does he create angles, once or twice in a fight.
zabs inside fighting is also limited, zab is a fighter like kostya tszyu who needs room to punch at his optimum. other than his uppercut or room to land a hook in a clinch he really doesn't do any trench work when he fights.
one of zab's biggest flaws is his focus, especially in big fights. zab has a tendency to look who is in the front rows so he can say hi, and that has bitten him in the ass on a few occasions. one of which involved a knockdown by the feather fisted spinks.
zab also loses focus mid way through the fight and starts posing before and after throwing punches. he's infamous for that. hands down by his waist like he's a gun slinger, which when he does that not only does it leave him open but he isnt in any good position to defend himself and he sure as hell aint working throwing punches trying to score.
also when he loses focus he starts acting out inside the ring and he also fouls, like he did in the mayweather fight. he too fouled cotto, more than the two low blows cotto gave to him, although the second low blow was bad, those kind are bad, but he was pulling cotto's head down while jumping back to get out the way, it was a combo of the two, cotto's offense and zab's evasive tactics. but any way, zab has been known to foul when things aren't going his way, or even worse cry to the ref looking for help anytime something happens to him. i can't stand that. you never see the real tough fighters look to the ref for help. you never see it from a holyfield or a hopkins or a corrales type fighter, they took their fouls and gave back without or gave then took theirs but they never looked for sympathy or help, zab does.
zab does have talent, but where he excels he lacks in other major departments in the overall scheme of being a fighter.
i will say this, if zab were to get a new trainer i think he could be a better fighter and position himself for another world title shot, but someone who is going to fix his mental aspect of fighting and bring back the boxing basics in zab. but that aint going to happen............................
There's only one or two things there I disagree with. I thought Zab had decent footwork although he doesn't utilize it in the right way because of the way he fights in straight lines. I liken the way he jumps in and out to that of a cobra; like you say a 'striker', effective momentarily but it seldom carries you home against a quality opponent.
one the most talented fighter now IMO almost knocked cotto out 1st round and i think he would of won if that dumazz cheater aint give him 2 low blows..... he did that on purpose cuz he was on verge of gettin knoked da fuk out
Don't be a sore loser. Cotto was somewhat hurt but never on the verge of being ko. Cotto dominated Judah the whole fight except for those few judah fluries. The non-intentional low blows are just another BS excuses from judah's groupies.:twak:

Naaaaaw man, I feel where your comin from, even agree wit u about the Tzyu & the Cotto fight (even though he never disagreed wit the stoppage like he did in the Tzyu fight) but when a fighters done, he's done man!! I was a Tyson fan till he said it ain't in him no more, I was an RJJ fan till catz was comin out the wood work str8 whoopin him (now he's fightin virtual nobodys), but when a cat don't have that extra "Oumff" against fighters that are supposed to be on the same or higher level than him, they passin the torch, man, they just fightin for bread, not wins. Now can u Dig Dat?!?:boxing:
WOA u gittin to far of your self there dude
more talent then JONES? is u on crack?? maybe at this day n age
but not prime jones

Been reading various things on here regarding Zab judah and I honestly can't under stand why people rate him so highly
I don't know how to post vids, but:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=jvXu4JhPDB0
fightingflip is right, zab is way more talented, floyd is a lot better.
deucedrop wrote a damn chapter book lol and i disagreed with a lot of it. zab has no defense, not good movement, and can't box?? LOL you must've missed his 2nd fight against cory spinks, taylor could barely catch spinks and zab went in there in his hometown and outboxed and knocked him out. he wasn't a front runner, that myth is bullshit, he proved it in that fight and against micky ward, chop chop etc. all this kostya talk is ridiculous too, zab handed him his ass in the 1st round and after getting clipped, should've taken the 8 count, he would've been fine, by the time nady waves it off zab's completely coherant. what he lacks is mental, if he was on par with mayweather mentally nobody could touch him.
i didn't say he couldn't box, i said that he lacked core fundamentals. obviously zab is good, he has a winning record still, but he's only good to a certain extent. talented striker is the peak of his talent, other than that he has lots of flaws, flaws that negate him being the most talented fighter this and that.
it is what it is, like i said, i think the best thing for judah is get rid of his pops and work with a trainer that is going to bring back solid basics and get his head on straight. zab is a classic case of the underachiever.......
i've got a good handful of zabdiel's fights on disk, i know what he's capable of doing and what he doesn't do.
he's only lost 3 fights, and that aint bad at all, but he's a big underachiever and lacks focus quite a bit. amongst other things.
WOA u gittin to far of your self there dude

your wrong..PBF was trained for his attributes..his speed his power..he works out everyday hell even everynight..he worked for wut he has..zab was born with his..you cant work for one punch knock out power you cant work for that kind of explosive speed zab is more talented then mayweather..but mayweather no doubt is better now..zab couldnt take advantage of his god given talents..

that's bullshit. The first "low blow" was on the beltline, and judah went down crying like a little bitch. he deserved the beating he got.
