i was watching pti and they were asked who would win the fight tomorrow, the guy answered "i can't go with a guy who's name is winky." that was the basis for his pick. a lot of these guys don't know shit about boxing and when they talk about it they say ridiculous things like this and have no foundation on what they say. i personally think winky will win but, i would never pick someone because of the other person's fucking name.
only person who knows shit about boxing that works for ESPN on a daily basis is Max Kellerman.
Holy Smokes! Is that Jessica Biel in your signature? She's soo hot...
Max Kellerman knows some things but sometimes he's not a straight shooter.
Lennox Lewis can help save boxing with his commentating. He's getting better. He's gotta speak faster. But he's not on ESPN.
Does anybody know the names of those three idiots that were on last night, especially the guy that said he couldnt pick WINKY because his name was Winky??
Dan Le Batard said the Stinky comment, he's a journalist out of Miami. The other guy is Mike Wilbon.

ESPN is just annoying straight up they are so annoying take the Michael Vick incident they wont stop talking about it I bet if the same situaation would happen to Floyd Mayweather, Jermain Taylor or any boxer of high name for that matter they will only talk about it once or not at all
Mike Vick is one of the most recognizable athletes in this country. They have to follow whats relevant. It's their job.
PTI is the best sports show period.
These guys can't follow every sport. They only follow whats popular, and unfortunatly in the US boxing is not even in the top 5. It bothers me when they say boxing is dead though.
Earlier this week, a journalist on Around The Horn talked about how boxing is not dead, and mentioned the Williams/Margarito/Cintron fights. He also said the Welterweight division is as good as its ever been, and of course they ignored him and said boxing was dead.

Good point; I've never seen any relevant boxing topics on PTI(I think I've seen some tyson ones) so I expect that they don't know alot about boxing..
Also....what is the name of the show they were on? What is PTI?

I saw that same show a few minutes ago and I was going to reply here too....three TOTAL idiots they had there and yes it was OBVIOUS that not one of the three had ANY knowledge of boxing whatsoever...it is CRAZY to me that those were the three guys they chose to come on air to talk about he fight.
Good point; I've never seen any relevant boxing topics on PTI(I think I've seen some tyson ones) so I expect that they don't know alot about boxing and don't really give a fuck. It's a shame that boxing isn't more mainstream..
