of course they will say that! this wouldnt be boxingscene.com if the greatest fighters werent discredited and dissed every second.....
hahaha.:D So true. Here nobody faught nobody, and theres always an excuse after every fight.lol. But I love it here though, best boxing forum online.
whoever wins this fight deserves big credit... both great fighters..
yep, both guys are pound for pound elite fighters and have been for some time now.
this is a quality match up, battle of the old schoolers, it all boils down to game plan, set of skills, and ring smarts in this fight, with a hint of conditioning in there playing a factor too.
credit for both fighters even making this fight really, they could've fought some young guy that isnt ready to be on their playing field and dominate them. these two fighting each other is a rarity, fighters that are as skilled as these two, who are fighting on the level that they're fighting on is rare, two upper crust fighters going at it ought to be good, for boxing purists.
i'm picking hopkins to win by decision...............
The only reason Im hesitant on picking Winky is because the size differential. The man was fighting at 154... He's not a very big guy. If they were closer in size I would pick Winky by shut out, but thats not the case...
Will people say...Hopkins was just bigger than Winky, it doesn't mean anything.

They should'nt because Taylor is bigger than both of them and Winky beat Taylor(in most peoples eyes) and I ain't even going into the Taylor/Hopkins I fight....but you get the picture.
I don't think it would be fair to say something like that, no because I love Hopkins but because of the caliber of Wright's talent. Either way you want to slice it he's either #2 or #3 p4p in the world right now, and a victory over him should mean a lot to any fighter. Especially for a guy like Bernard who's 42 years old.
