i like Cintrons comment about this fight erasing the whole nightmare that unfolded within the margarito fight, i dont think so Kermit. He needs to be challenging Margarito instead of Shane Mosley and settling up the score.

What's the story? Cintron beat Matthysse like he should have and was very impressive for the whole 4 minutes of boxing, but Hatton may have the perfect style to counter that. Suffocating pressure, fast movement and hand speed. Course if Cintron hits anyone with that finishing Combo or a couple of those long right hands it could be lights out. Hatton tho would probably be a little too fast and work his body till he puked and quit again from a panick attack. just jokin, i like Cintron he really brings it.

I'll pay to see cintron and cotto vs any of the top dog's in and around 147...as tyson said last week in one of his moments of clarity, people want to see blood. these guys bring the bloodlust.

Some excellent points have been made in this thread.. :beerchug: Overall my feeling is that size, and strength could be potentially unassailable factors for Hatton at full welter. This; based on the performances against types like Collazo and Urango.. Not the overall result.. Just some of those telling moments when Ricky seemed to be slightly overhwhelmed, confused, ect. Although it should be said that Collazo is an very good fighter, and Urango looked pretty decent as well.. Regarding Cintron himself - his offensive game has tightened up quite alot, and mentally he seems strong and clear.. How's his chin?.... It ain't made of titanium. We know that.. The same could be said for Paul Williams, who looked potentially vulnerable to the body, as well as the chin against Margarito.. Margarito is the guy with a chin. Too bad he's wide and deliberate with his shots.. Williams vs. Cintron seems logical.

What top Welter Weights are there besides the ones who have ducked him in the past and the overrated hype that just got beat down? 5 time world champion in 5 different weight classes is something that 99% of boxers will not accomplish and It can't be done by merely hand picking opponents, you're just a bitter hater reject pseudo-boxing fan.. Lightweight he defeated Castillo - most say Castillo won that contraversial decision. Light Welterwight he defeated Arturo Gatti - who did Gatti beat that was truly good? Welterweight he defeated Carlos Baldomir - another flat footed easy to outbox guy. Light Middleweight defeated oscar de la hoya in a contraversial split decision - oscar past his prime, and another flat footed brawler type fighter... Im just stating the obvious.. Look at the top dawgs int he welterweight division right now. These oppononts he beat aint got shit on the top 5 welterweights in the world right now.. beleive that!

THe mmatter of fact the Hatton could handle Castillo because there are nearly in the same height but he wouldnt even reach close to Cintron because of the size and the jab that Cintron does. As well as one punch could end it all just as Hatton comes close and uppercut going to put him on his ass and lights out for him. You hatton fans are sad, you say hatton isnt a natural welterweight, mayweather isnt one either but he moved up to SW, hatton should stop calling out mayweather then, know hatton needs a catch weight to fight mayweather excuses excuses.

Hatton can only fight one way. You arent going to bully Cintron, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, or Mosley. He is just not strong enough. Williams is just too tall and lanky, and Mayweather is Mayweather.
