Out of all the top guys, can Hatton beat any of them. Im not talking about a bad Hatton either. Im talking about a Hatton who this time would carry his same skills that he has at 140. Same speed, strength, and all. Is he still too small and not talented enough for the guys at 147
1-Floyd
2-Oscar
3-Mosley
4-Margarito
5-Cotto
6-Williams
7-Clottey
8-Cintron
and anyone else I left out. Can Hatton beat any of them? If not then does that say something negative about him? I mean a guy should be able to beat atleast one of the top 8 fighters just one division up.
at this moment the welterwieght division is loaded with fighters who are natural middlewieghts or junior middles , last night williams entered the ring a super middlewieght. hatton is a guy fighting at junior welter who wouldnt look out of place at super featherwieght with hes hieght and reach. hatton would be the underdog going in with any top 10 welter atm and thats only because of the collazo fight and not because he has no chance to win against any of them.
williams margorito and cintron are definate no nos for me because of there sheer size and punching power , williams cud stand in hes corner and keep hatton in the centre of the ring with hes long arms for fuck sakes lol. i could see him beating cotto and clottey and has ive said from day one on this site floyd mayweather
he has the best chance against soft punching Floyd, but he doesnt have the ridiculous speed it would take to get inside on a guy like Floyd @ 147, and his reach and height would be a huge problem.

4-Margarito
5-Cotto
6-Williams
7-Clottey
8-Cintron
Out of those, he would struggle with each for different reasons, Cintron can bang, Williams is a style nightmare for Hatton, Margarito too sturdy and can fight Hatton's game, Mosley/Mayweather too skilled. Clottey and Cotto would be possible wins for Hatton, yet again, I wouldn't disregard Hatton against anyone.
After watching williams-margarito, i've concluded that hatton should stay at welterweight, margarito is a huge welterweight himself at 5 ft 11, yet he was towered over by williams, Hatton would find it difficult against any of the fighters at 147 due to his size and relatively short reach.
People need to stop mentioning Collazo. He is no fair indication of Hatton's potential success at that weight. The tactics were all wrong, the conditioning was all wrong. Hatton was stung because he was out of shape. That wouldnt be happening in the future.
LOL imagine williams vs hatton
omg that would be crazy hatton is only 5'6 williams is 6 foot plus
Agreed it would look strange.
Hatton is one of the best body punchers around so....would that not suit him?
Holy shit man, Cintron would implode Hatton's face with that right hand. Hatton gets hit way too easily and against a live guy like Cintron who punches very accurately (from what I saw tonight) it would be a slaughter. Remember Hatton stumbling around from Collazo's straight left in the 12th round? I do, now imagine Cintron landing that right hand.....curtains!
Interesting, many said the same about KT, even if he was past his best he still had his power and landed several right hands on Hatton, amazingly Hatton's face didn't implode?
Obviously Cintron can bang but its easy landing against a fighter coming in straight lines loading up himself?
Like any big puncher, if their big shots don't work they don't tend to have a plan B and continue to throw big, eventually running out of steam.
Look at Hamed against MAB.
LOL imagine williams vs hatton

lol yea somebody on here said it would look like a circus freak show
Holy shit man, Cintron would implode Hatton's face with that right
LMMFAO!!!!!!! yea I don't think Hatton wants any of that 147, he looked terrible against Collazo no way he could bring that kind of performance against any of the top WW's.
