After that his calling out of Sugar Shane makes sense. He looked good with short accurate punches that provided power. With Steward as his trainer he's going to be a solid fighter in the WW division. Damn this division is the best in boxing.
Great fight, beautiful display of ring dominance, wish he'd stretched it out for a few rounds, though. I was really looking forward to seeing Kermit fight again. Always liked the kid, and felt bad for him after the Marg. fight. I don't know what was going through his head at the time (if anything....kid's a great fighter, but none too bright), but he was capable of KOing Margarito, even then, if his head had been in the right place.
He's a good fighter always has been in my book.
Idiots only discredit him just to hate on Margarito for beating him. He was at the time maybe the best prospect in the entire sport, and he just showed he's back as a fighter by quickly disposing of Matthysse.
The slugfest against Estrada was just a tuneup type fight.
I agree,Kermit was not ready at the time,i think he is now, especially with Stewerd

not a doubt in my mind cintron clearly had the better opposition
although matthyse seriously didnt look like he was in shape or wanted to be there
I totaly agree,he looked so scared from the begining, like he didnt wanna be fighting
Cintron has improved so much since working with Stewerd,i think if his confidence is back,he can give Margarito or Williams big trouble
agreed he was there to win plain and simple
