Damn sounds like Khan took some good shots from Limond. I've heard a lot of people talk about Amir's chin and how it was weak and maybe they are right. Limond isn't a huge puncher is he? Nice to see Khan get back up and do some work and win the fight. Against a heavy puncher he might be in trouble. His offense is no doubt world class, but it seems he needs to work on the defense.
Why? Cos a prospect (at this moment he is nothing more) got knocked down and then came off the canvas to win in fairly rampant style (broken jaw, possibly broken nose and a lot of bleeding inside of the mouth). And two shit heavyweights who are quite widely accepted as being at domestic level only, put on a shit fight?
So Warren knew beforehand that his man would get knocked down and almost out by a light-punching non-aggressive fighter before getting up and landing some strong fight-ending punches?
The Lightweight fight was still entertaining, removing the circumstances. The HW fight was the worst ive ever seen.
I missed 'Sawdust and TInsel' on BBC4 to watch the Khan fight, it was worth it, but that HW 'fight' was one for the ages. When $in calls British boxing a joke, you can see he has a point, to some extent anyway.

im thinking it was pre planed.. warren wants to milk his cash cow......

Im not one of those people who loves to watch brawls only, i like the skills side of boxing, there was little skill in this, just lots of useless feinting and jabbing nothing more,
I didnt watch all of it, cleaned my room, thought about my degree results which came through the post 2 days ago, thought about naked women, then remembered the fight was on.
But tell me,
How did ian john lewis have it 114-114??? lmao, he was a good referee from the little bits i have seen of him, but he should be banned from boxing for that scoring.
As should the guy who only had skelton 1 round up, lmao.
Shocking.
Why was that your tought? You think that Warren is going to move on national television to indicate to the doctor that he is bribing him?

thats what i thought.... if it he dont have a broken nose etc... Dr will jus say sorry my bad call, i thought it should stop the fight...

warren paid the doctor off?

Its a joke that he could have any chance at all. The truth of the matter is that Skelton is awkward, strong and durable enough to be trouble for anyone at the moment. But the British heavyweight scene is an utter disgrace at the moment.
I hope They do Skelton vs Klitschko so Skelton can get what he deserves.
LMAO Those two judges are a disgrace.
114-114 draw.
115-114 skelton.
There needs to be an investigation.
Let's not forget about Jim Lampley, Harold Lederman, George Foreman, Manny Steward and Evander Holyfield. Barry McGuigan was a great boxer, but as a boxing pundit he was less than average; see also Ian Darke, Johnny Nelson and Jim Watt, in fact all the Sky (UK) team.
Ian
Nah. Barry is better than virtually all of them.
Good for you, ill check it out in a bit, i did read the quote, and ill take your word for it, because im watching one of the worst HW fights of the year on tv.
Skelton has 0 chance of winning a world title imo.

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BOI.
Kid is young and people are already talking about someone with a power hand is going to burst his bubble but he just showed today that he is a warrior. He'll get better, he's only 20. He'll get stronger, faster and become a better boxer.
The above comment is a new one from yesterday and Ray mentions the interview if you read the quote. His comments about fighting at 140 was taken out of context, Ray didn't mean that they would insist that the fight is at 140, he meant that Rick would come in at the same weight as he does for 140 fights.

Ain't true.
Came from Ray Hatton via the official Ricky Hatton website.

'You know what I mean'? He keeps saying that all the time and I'LL knock him out.
Barry Macguigan is by far the best boxing pundit around.
