He looked like he didn't want to fight MIranda the first time.

I wouldn't mind seeing the upset.... I'veprolly seen him fight more than anyone here...seen alot of ams too. Petey loses on the inside..his boxing skills are good and Green will box. If PMj looks anything like he did in his last I'de have to say Green.

I like Peter Manfredo and I think he's a smart fighter and even Peter knows a fight with Green would be tough he even said if he's gonna fight someone like Green he needs to start training with Freddy Roach again, and I think if Peter doesn't come straight forward without his hands up or at least throwing a jab while coming in he could do alright. I wouldn't mind seeing Manfredo/Green and winner facing Miranda and then possibly the winner of that going on for the Pavlik/Taylor winner or Calzaghe/Kessler winner!!!!

First, I think Green should 'keep busy' and maybe fight again before he fights Manfredo in Oct. As for Manfredo, this guy's no pushover and should not be overlooked at all by Green(that's how upsets happen). Although I do think Green has the advantage over Manfredoa in terms of his boxing ability and his superior body type(height, build, reach), what Manfredo lacks in those departments he compensates with sharp punching, toughness, and will. So basically IMO this will a tough, but good, fight for Green if he takes Manfredo seriously. If not, Peter could pull the 'mini upset.'

I would not mind seeing a Miranda-Green rematch. I think it would be a closer fight this time, though I still think Miranda wins. I think the same as well. Green's probably definitely gonna be better at SMW as will Miranda. I think it will be more competitive, but still with Miranda winning by late KO or decision.

I think you're right, I think Green wins a second time around thats why he should be going after the rematch with Miranda. He did look sapped, and even at his weak looking stage he was able to swell up mirandas eyes and knock him down that said I dont think he will fair well against Kessler, Calzhage but I think he would be very evenly matched against someone like jeff lacey or even Taylor at 168, Pavlik I will go out on a limb and think would be too much pressure/ straight power punches for him to do well. Still he is a good fighter and brings a lot to supermiddle

I'll take Green in a rematch. I thought he would win the first fight but I was wrong. But he showed he can take Miranda's best punch and not fall. Although he nearly did. It was the one punch that sent vibrations through his body. And he did go down eventaully. But he showed a lot of heart staying up after the initial punch. Green should stay a light heavy he shouldn't go back down to fight Miranda I think that's dumb and wasting where his best fights should be at. When he destroys Manfredo maybe he can get a shot at JC/Kessler.

Yes, Green will have an easy win over Manfredo, who tries very hard to be a bona fide contender but simply lacks boxing talent. Green vs. Miranda II would have the same result as their first fight, and I think Miranda would KO him this time....Pantera is a genuine contender and in a whole different league than Manfredo. I ussually dont think much when excuses are thrown around by boxers but I must admit Green looked completely sapped in his first fight and it was a stupid move on his part to fight at the 162 catch weight. I think he would put it on Miranda this time.

he didn't mention him in his interview after the fight.....he said he is waiting on manfredo to send him the contract to fight him....also called out taylor....
