If Gatti wins??

gatti is shot, this is the millionth time I will post it. Gomez is too young for gatti and gomez knows if he loses to gatti gomez has no future. A win over gatti means everything to gomez that can be said about almost any big fight though..especialy in this day an age where if you lose one fight your written off

if gatti wins he will go face chavez jr which will prob lead him to retirement. he good dnt get me wrong ima a fan to of him, but i think he done he had enuff and did all he could

Ok but you've got to appreciate the fact that gatti being way past his best is not news, thats the whole point really, cos the fight wouldn't be happening if gomez was fighting a prime gatti, it just wouldn't be a contest, and most people picking gatti have already factored in his age, Danny Stash hopes that gatti calls it a day after this fight. I take your point, and i'm trying to pick this one with my head and not my heart, but i'm still happy with thinking gatti stops gomes between 5-8 rounds. A good source told me the fight with chavez jr is already done, all Gatti has to do is get past Gomez which I think he can. Hell, Jesse Feliciano fought Gomez to a draw so I think Gatti will either outbox him for the better part of 10 rds while engaging in some toe to toe action, or just break Gomez down and get a TKO in the 8th But I also think Gatti should hang em up after this Chavez Jr is a bad style match up for him the kid is too tall for Gatti at this point in his career and I dont want to see Gatti lookin like Meldrick Taylor. I saw Bobby Chacon a couple years back and he was in horrible shape, needed a bib to wipe the drool from his mouth, and Chacon is a very similiar fighter to Gatti, I dont want to see him like that.

If gatti wins, i think he will carry on, so hopefully he takes a beating that makes him realise that he's risking his health uneccessarily.

Gatti should be able to outbox him or outbrawl him, i think he'll start off reaonably cautious but get encouraged how easily he's catching gomes and open up a bit. I think he'll do him like dorin with that left hook doubled up head, then body, especially with mickey in his camp. Just put £30 on him to win inside the distance, £150 return including stake, like those odds. I am dropping some cash on it as well.

What happened with him fighting JCC Jr?

I think he should hang it up. He would be going out as one of the best people's champs of all time. I just shudder at the thought of him being a 39 yr old stepping stone type fighter cuz he can't get out of the ring. I have a feeling though he will never go away. To put my selfishness aside i hope he retires. d I agree mate, he should hang his gloves up but I think Gatti will end up like Evander. Whether he wins or loses against Gomez I think he'll fight on. He loves fighting always has and always will.

If Gatti isn't as shot as we think, then maybe he might actually win but I don't see that happening. Gomez by UD. Both manfredo and gomez are extremely overatted. The snake as well. All of these fighters on the contender are overrated.

Yes If Gatti wins he should call it a carreer, he has been in way to many wars. I love watching him fight but he doesnt have much left in the tank right now.
