Im a big hatton fan, but i just cant see hatton winning this fight...
Do any of you guys see this fight ending just like the gatti fight did? If not why?
Gatti was pretty close to being a spent force, & has lost to pretty well every really good boxer he's ever fought. He's also a complete sucker for the right hand.
Hatton's the better fighter, much more in the tank, & is pretty good at negating the right & closing the distance quickly, stopping a good boxer getting his range.
Would still edge Floyd, as he's by far the quicker fighter, but think it will be a very tough match if it happens.
Posted this video on youtube a while ago:
Note: Harold Lederman does not know how to score fights.
After 7 rounds, Floyd was up:
6-1, 5-2, 6-1 on the judges scorecards

it will be jus like the gatti fight, except i doubt it that ricky will quit on his stool, but the beating will be similar nonetheless. funy thing is, if this fight goes down, and floyd embarasses hatton, all the haters here and everywhere else will boil up some new excuses to hate on floyd. its hilarious how he always proves everyone wrong and they jump on him immediately bout sumthin else. well i think its very comical anyway

Thats what i think also bro!!! He isnt match better then gatti in the skills department!!! I cant see him winning this one either!!
I see Hatton giving Mayweather a good fight, but in the end losing a UD that was close on the cards. Hatton would land more than 11 punches which Gatti did. Mayweather I think wins, but it won't be as lopsided as the Gatti fight.
Gatti's biggest mistake in this fight is he tried to box floyd... he had to fight him...
yeah i didnt know why the fuck he went with that plan. To fight PBF he should of went back to his style in 1996
Yeah I don't remember agreeing with Lederman's scorecard after 8 I had Mayweather up 5-3. But I agree that guys that pressure Mayweather generally don't do very well especially when not working behind a jab. If Hatton can impose his punch and grab style I can see it being a close fight.
Chavez didnt do too badly from what I remember.
He did enough to have the fight even on Lederman's card after 8, but Lederman likes the aggressor. Mayweather just killed poor Chavez in the last round though.

I totally agree. If everyone looks at my past threads. I've said Hatton & Cotto vs PBF= PBF vs Gatti. A total mismatch.

Agree with every word. I'm a Hatton fan as well but I see him getting completely humuliated.
