I like Alex arthur aswell, hes had abit of a layoff for this stage in his career. So he's been overlooked a bit. But it probably doesn't help having frank warren as your promoter.
For now I would say David Haye. He's going to have a great fight with Mormeck which I think he can win and then he might have a nice career as a HW as well. Amir Khan could be next, but some questions have been raised about his chin and all the fighters he has fought to this point have limited KO power. So if he overcomes that then he might be the best of the bunch in a few years.
I voted for Froch but I was torn between him and Haye and I would also like to give an honourable mention to my fellow Scotsman Alex Arthur who is fighting for the interim (or possibly vacant) WBO Super Featherweight Title next month and who could surprise a few people in a competitive division.
david haye is really the only one you can take seriously on that list.
who gives a fuck about cook and harrison?
a mere con, read that in ring magazine.
froch is getting too old too quick, he needs to step up NOW.
maccarinelli gives title shots to the most unworthy of challengers.
woods is like calzaghe: he makes a career out of doing as little as possible and making as many excuses as possible.
witter keeps crying to fight hatton and doesnt do anything to prove hes really worth fighting (or watching for that matter).
hatton is best overall, calzaghe is unbeaten but yet to step up (lacy was too much of a pushover, he needs another test).
aside from hatton and calzaghe, haye is the best on that list of brits.
My vote at the moment is for david haye, i can't wait for the mormeck fight. And his first fight at heavyweight was destructive. Soo much power in those hands. The mormeck fight will be his biggest test so far by a long stretch though.
amir khan will become the best british boxer, but right now, its got to be david haye, hes gonna unify the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions before he retires, mark my words.
Khan and His Glass chin are soon to be exposed.. he cant fight feather fists forever..
Froch is good, but better than Hatton and Calzaghe! Behave yourself!
He will be a More dominant champ than Either.. and I think he can and will beat Calzaghe.. Esp because Cal is 35

Okay guys. Lets take out Hatton and Calzaghe, who is the best British boxer without them?
Let's Keep Hatton and Calzaghe in the MIX... And it's still Carl Froch
