if mayweather won i would give him hes props for beating on of the top 2 fighters that he can fight. i wouldnt say hatton got exposed or was always over-rated (the two terms that get used when good fighters lose for some reason) theres no shame in losing to the best boxer in the sport and corrales and castillo went on to bigger things after losing to mayweather if hatton won i would say i told yo so , i have always said that hatton would beat floyd but would hope that floyd comes back and gets big fights still (kinda like hopkins is atm) because i love watching him fuck this 1 loss and your done shit thats populer atm fighters who are undefeated think there unbeatable and a loss sends them back to the drawing board and makes them a better person

Winning against Mayweather would put his name up there with the top elites. Also it would bring more big fights in the future. And given the fact that he would be the first man to ever beat floyd will be an accomplishment on its own. No one could ever take that from him regardless of how his career would end. If he loses, oh well, he lost to Mayweather the best fighter out there. If this fight happens hatton will definitely be the aggressor. It would be interesting to see how floyd will do against an young, prime opponent who doesn't back down. I feel what you are saying. I dont know about the Hatton being the agressor thing. After seeing him outboxed by a young/prime Collazo, I question his boxing skills.

what would you say if hatton won? If Hatton won, barring any crazy judging, excessive holding etc he would have to be considered for P4P. I dont care for either fighter, I do respect what each brings. I just want a good display of boxing skill, heart, and effort.

If Mayweather beats Hatton, then I will congratulate him for not only being the best boxer in the world (which we know he is) but also for actually facing some serious and lively competition. If Hatton beat Mayweather, I would say that Hatton deserves a lot more respect, that he beat the best in the world and that Mayweather has perhaps been a tad over-rated and over-protected. It depends on the manner of victory though.

it depends on how he loses, if he loses ala gatti or corrales thats one thing, but if he loses like de la hoya (which was really a draw) then thats another thing
