Ricky fought a good fight, had a game plan and stuck to it. Ricky has never been a defensive style fighter, he get hits a bit, but that makes him exciting. I would like to see less holding. At least he's trying to make it the states fighting in Vegas and his supporters travel.

My Opinion hasn't changed.. I am in No way a BIG fan of Ricky Hatton.. But I respect what he does.. and He does it well.. and he has always done it THAT way.. I dont know what some North Americans Thought when they heard about this guy.. But I dont ever think he was Billed as The next SRR.. He is a Brawler.. I have always been a stern supporter of Hatton and i knew he had it in him to give a performance worthy of his underated boxing skills but that was just way beyond my expectations. I can honestly see him moving back to 147 now. If given enough time to grow into 147 and get used to the weight then he would surely be a challenge for the top welters. Cotto Vs Hatton = FOTY. i hope cotto-hatton does happen but only if theres plenty of notice and hatton gets the time to prepare properly and build himself into a welterweight instead of just looking like a pudgy lww like he did against collazo. and i reckon mayweather would be tempted out of retirement to take on the winner.
