YOu guys are getting totally off topic here. The topic is not best fighter or most skill fighter. The topic is most talented fighter.
Roy Jones Jr takes this hands down. In distant second is Hamed.
These were blessed with incredible hand and footspeed, cat like reflexes and tremendous power. They were so talented they didnt have to be fundamentally sound because they could do almost whatever.
i think jones was the most athletic and james toney and archie moore had the most skills...
thats why I said talent even at 154 jones had like 17 knock outs in a row it just seems in his earlyer fights he had so much muscle tone. Roy should just retire, he could still beat some decent fighters but his body just doesn,t look the same anymore.

george foreman
HUH? Dude had terrible skill...barely could throw a punch and a lousy punch @ that. All Foreman had was ill clubbing KO power...ogre-strength.
In this order:
Ray Robinson
Roy Jones Jr.
Cassius Clay
dam money was the root of all evil even then .... pbf
my vote talent hagler he had everything haven't seen enough of any greats before him
actually in those days i dont think the argument was between them it was the promoters and circut the
i wouldnt say he was less phyiscally talented just different.. robinson was thin so he used his hieght ..moore was a beast huge lats and legs...he was light heavyweight champion till he was 50 over 10 years and didnt get a shot till he was 39 against maxim.. and the best puncher that ever lived.. he was the most natural
I've seen some clips now, and it's as I remembered; he is more skillfull than outright talented. At least compared to Ray Robinson.
archie moore was and old master though... moore an robinson were going to fight but couldnt agree on the money

Im sorry I forgot about toney I never said ray was slow I was saying what fighter has he ever faced to prepare him for maybe the fastest middel weight ever. I dont remeber all the fighters he faced but maybe the fastest was kid gavilian and some people think he deserved to win there first fight.
Yes, Archie Moore is seriously underappreciated.
But I think he is more skillfull than physically talented, but I would place him higher on a skill-scale.
If that makes any sense..?

Two Ton Tony and Ten Ton Toney.
If he didn't smoke like a chimney hadn't drank like a Irishman, Galento could've been the greatest heavy ever.
If Toney had been born in the pre KFC era, he would have knocked out Sugar and Louis on the same night and Boozo could've been a real bucket boy!
Those were the greatest natural talents never realized in the history of mankind and could have altered the entire course of history!
Damn. Sugar Ray was one bad man!
And that left hook is still the best ever. Ray Robinson is the most talented in the history of the sport, and he actually used and challenged the talent too.
